While I fully understand and expect that the majority of the housework, cleaning, shopping etc. is my responsibility, is it too much to ask that DH not ACTIVELY thwart these efforts? Gawd. Last night, he told me that DS was dumping out his bubbles and saying "wheee water!!" I asked, well did you take it away from him?" "No, he is outside on the deck". Scratchhead Me: "Is it too much to ask you to sweep up the cheerios, wagon wheels, puffs and raisins that YOU fed them for snack time, so that I don't crush them under my bare feet and track them all through the house?" Sigh. Bash

Happy Birthday Drozee!!

Speaking of printer woes, I took my toner cartridge out to shake it (something I have done many times before) and yay, black toner all over me, the desk and my computer. Good times.

Thank you. I hope it's nothing - I kind of figure it isn't much to worry about - at least, that's what I am hoping til they tell me differently.

I'm not sure about my BP. According to standard bp measurements, my BP was great - 120/70. However, pre-pregnancy, *my* normal bp runs 86-94/60, so I tend to be on the lower side normally. I don't know if the 120/70 makes me "high" now since it's high for me, or if it's still fine since it's in the standard/normal range. *shrug*

I guess we'll find out!

I know that a few of you may be buying splashers since summer is here... if you do GTG, codes from pampers splashers are earning double points until 8/31 (not sure if there is a limit on the bonus points)
Smilie

Oh, and splashers boxes at my stores have had $1 TQ peelies on them which helps Big Grin

hug ITA! I don't feel like I am less busy than DH but I definitely have more opportunity to clean up...it just gets me when he throws his dirty socks on the floor in our living room and then walks around them until they magically disappear. Not to mention that dirty socks totally gross me out vomit

Sending cleaning vibes your way too! Smilie

WARNING!! HALF NAKED BIRTHDAY HOTTIE

Happy Birthday Drozee!!!
Right now I am getting ready to get DD to the doctor. SHe;s having some complications and I have to get her there. The worries of parenthood go forever. we're taking her at 2:30, so a few minutes to visit with the TCC'ers.

Gator, sometimes I think men are blind to things lying around, they just DONT seem to see it. My dxh was a great contributor with housework. He even did bathrooms, he would do the tub, shower, floor, sinks until everything was sparkling. But he NEVER once touched the toilet, and didn't even realize he was avoiding it Roll

Mel, if you are reading this, it was nice bumping into you at T, sign up and come join the chat hug

and DROZEE......HAPPY BIRTHDAY Whee

Teri - hope everything is well with your daughter.

Gator - I think guys just don't see things the same way. As my hubby says, he feels I do a great job at being mom/wife/housekeeper and just assumes I have it all under control. He is overjoyed to help out when I ask - but that's the key. He said he works all day making decisions, watching for things at work, yada yada, and since he figures I've got it handled at home - he just doesn't "see" it because he's not looking for it at home. But if I ask - he does it right away. Sure, I'd love if he'd just see some stuff piling up and help out (and occasionally, he does) - but I dont' think guys are wired that way. They have to have the roof fall in on them before they realize it needs repair - kwim? Women tend to look at or for things and recognize things BEFORE crisis time... Men fix problems... women try to avoid them! Does that make sense?? So, maybe a "hey dear... can you please clean up this mess..." would work! Big Grin

On another note... Discovery Health is probably not the best channel to watch while you are lying around on bed rest... laugh out loud Food network probably isn't either...

This made me laugh out loud because I have a very non SD friend who always tells me that some people consider those little GCs real money. I always just look at her and say - REALLY? Cool

The short answer - yes, it is too much to ask.
