DD is a bit whiny today. She keeps saying her knee hurts, but I don't see anything wrong with it - not even a bruise. Sounds like growing pains to me. My DD's get it off and on too. I mentioned it to the Dr and he said growing pains unless the pain goes on for days getting worse could be an injury like a sprain.

I have never watched the T&T show but my neice was in them for years. I just DO NOT understand it at all. I could never do that with my kids, for one thing no way in hell I do half that stuff to myself. Secondly I think it would make them feel like they need to do all that stuff to feel pretty and it will cost a fortune for them to keep doing that to themselves the rest of their lives when I think my DD;s are beautiful just as they are.


I'm glad it's nothing more serious that a UTI. I can't yet imagine what it might be like watching my baby have a baby. It makes me super sad for my oldest DD, she has Turners and it's like 99% she will never be able to conceive. So far I;ve only told her that her ovaries are not like other girls so it might be harder for her to have a baby someday.

I just kicked stinky mean LOD butt at my T! laugh out loud I only had Sobe, Airwick, Olay, and Fiber One. Well the Olay beeped of course so the LOD comes over and even though I have the correct item and coupon she gives the whole 'if it doesn;t scan we don;t get paid, can;t take it.' Then I whip out my $3 Olay MQ which do have an exact match for the barcodes. She is just looking at the coupon OMG starting to say she can't take it either. I told her I knew it would scan and attach to the product she says "only if it does not beep, then we can take it. But if it says item not there like the other coupon we will not take it."
Of course it scanned right through. :rotfl: She was like OMG and then Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) I just thought it was funny, this LOD is such a stickler about coupons. I figured I would have to get to use one or the other Olay MQ since one has the correct item picture and the other has the correct barcode.

Good luck on the garage sale, just focus on how you will feel when it is all over with and you have a big fat envi of cash!

Yes, I am thinking it is growing pains since she is now jumping and hopping around like a monkey/frog hybrid.

And I had to laugh at T&T - I don't do that stuff myself either! Good grief - I barely ever wear makeup. I think I've worn it maybe 1x-2x per year in the past 4 or 5 years! And the only mani/pedi I have ever had was for my wedding. laugh out loud

And that is so funny about your T shopping. *maybe* she'll get it... *maybe*

The next thing you should do is get a J&J coupon and bring every single product in the J&J line to the register and show that the coupon will beep on every single item - then ask her "now what??"

For those of you that have found the Smuckers B3G1, what is the exp date on them? I thought I had hit the motherload today....until I looked at the exp date and it was 12/31/09.Annoyed

Had a decent run today. Got a few things we needed desperately (cat food and paper towels) and a few things that had GC's. I did the Sobe deal woot it actually worked. Only when I got back into this thread did I begin to fear drinking the dang things. Bugs EEK! (some flavors don't have that carnewhatever in them so I guess they're bug free) pregnancyEEK!. Can the BF drink them or do I just need to give them away now? Found some G9 hangtags finally and the Clorox B3G1.

Today my Target had 8-pks of Bounty Basics on 50% clearance for $2.98 - a good buy if you have the $1.00/1 TQs (which I did). I don't know if it was just this one store since the stocker girl said, "we just need to get rid of these, do you need paper towels?". Probably some other Bounty MQs you could stack with these but I literally only had an envelope with the Bounty Target coupons in it with me when I went into the store looking for Visa GCs!

What.a.day. A very long day. After all afternoon at the OB with DD, she and SIL were in a head on accident this evening, just a few blocks from home. A lady was driving in the median, where they were merging into the lane of traffic and she plowed head on into them.

We just got home. J is banged up with a bad headache and stiff neck, Em had a bloody nose, swollen face and sprained wrist. Her knees got scraped from hitting the dashboard, but after ultrasounds and the like, she was given a clean bill of health. The baby is ok.

what a day.

Gator, good wishes for a great yard sale. One of these days I'm actually going to have one too. Otherwise, Hoarders WI:LL be filming from my house.

Redjen, glad the Sobe deal went good for you. Don't drink it LMAO

It really is indescribable... then when they go into labor you wish it could be you in pain and not them.

yea, darn what a night. We got home around midnight but I didn't get in bed until after 2. Of course, a storm blew up and the thunder woke me, then the dogs woke me, then the phone woke me so after all that, I'm up Annoyed When I drove by the accident on the way to the hospital last night, I went into a panic. The front end of the truck is smashed in and the whole thing went off the frame, and NONE of the airbags deployed. The truck isn't old at all. What good are they if they don't work? Annoyed

I had a car like that. Apparently there had been a recall on it to fix the airbags and no one happened to let me know... it was highly annoying - to say the least.

I have been amazed at how horrible a car can look and the person inside be relatively okay. When I had my accident back in November, I didn't realize how bad it had been until we went to get stuff out of the car. Seeing how smashed up it was made me :shiver: It was pretty surreal. Thank God things weren't worse!

Hope you get to take a nap today! Comfort
