Don't get too excited. Our garden centers are closing in Sept. Plants were on sale for $3. Not the cheapest I've seen, but I could pay for them with a T GC... and I use the term "pay" pretty loosely.

Had to bring DH to T because he wanted to spend time with me. How romantic!
Saw 2 lonely free Papa John peelies first time in my life.
Pointed out to DH and then walked away.
Taking peelies is stealing in his book.
I wasn't going to ruin our romantic time at T over 2 peelies, although I was this close to!
Taking the 2 peelies would give me more pleasure than making out at a T. Oh yeah, Papa John! LMAO

The Karate Kid peelies are on the $5.00 DVDs in the special endcap section by toys or sporting goods typically...the PJs are all one a specially marked set of dvds here. One store has them all in one section and the other has them in the 'older'/cheaper' kid/family movie section.

There is something crazy going on here with domestic disputes in mega discount retailers. Had an EX come into Target and shoot his GF to death this weekend, and just this morning a man and women apperently arguing at the Walmart gas station decided to drive INTO the store EEK!

So I went to T this AM (a different store in the AM, not my "afternoon delight" store) and bought a basketball hoop for my kids (thanks Sky for the tip on that one Big Grin ). Didn't buy anything else, and didn't use a single Q OMG But I did meet up with my Papa (or a few Papas) while I was there! woot

I know that the few garden centers here are all closing. But we're getting fresh groceries in those stores, so I can't complain one.single.bit!

LMAO Same here. I ran into Papa again tonight. I seem to keep bumping into him. I also fell into a vat of KK peelies tonight too, when I came up for air, my handbag was full Whee

two things though. Both peelies are LOUD, and make sure to manicure your nails really nice and sharp before leaving the house. Those KK's are hard to get off in one piece!

they said they would be expanded grocery eventually but not to look for it right away if your store was a lower volume store (which mine is...). It could be years away Facepalm

I have never had a garden center b4 but just got a fresh grocery yesterday and I L.O.V.E. it!!!! Not the fruit so much but there was bakery bread and things my little ole Reg T never ever ever carried, and its a bigger selection of the things, like EVERY type of Oscar Meyer Hotdogs not just franks etc...and it totally quadrupled the amount of frozen foods, so much so that the freezer door cases werent even filled up yet. Things were only 2 items deep and spread across two shelves.

It is all the way across the store from the entrance but once you pass the dollar spot and turn onto the main aisle way you can see it in the distance and it so exciting laugh out loud

Oh and I found an entire srock of Clorox hangtags. Now can anyone write my shopping list Pray
