Poor DS was soooooo hungry when we left there I drove through the first McDonalds I could find and threw some food in the backseat for him.
Totally sounds like feeding a hungry lion LMAO (which is what my kids are like when they're starving nod).

Sounds like you ran into a rather poor hostess MOT2. The job of a good hostess is to try to anticipate the needs of ALL her (or his) guests and to try to make everyone feel comfortable and have a good time. Anyone who has a kids party and focuses only on the girls (or only on the boys) or anyone who has a party and doesn't feed the kids, well they're just plain Crazy

My kids....

When DD turned 16, it was a family gathering...with a cake on it with 16 little breyer horses and ONE donkey. Because we all know a 16 year old can be a pain in the assssss. Smilie

When DS turned 16 he was at the boarding school I delivered good pizza for all the boys in the dorm at his school.

So do any of you do the MedCo deals? There's a new $10 off coupon code out. I really need to shut it down for the night, but free/very cheap items just keep calling my name... Slickdeals is such a weakness, lol.

I've been meaning to take a look at that thread. I have Medco as one of my RX carriers with my health insurance and didn't know if it would interfere, but I'll have to take a closer look.

I haven't done them, but I've been wondering the same thing. We have medco for our RX, and they are running this promo often. I've just never bothered to check it out before.

I hear ya on the party thing.. [snip] The big kids are old enough and I make them clean up there own mess after the party. [snip] she wants a big sweet 16 bash like some of her friends have had. some of these parents have spent several hundreds of dollars on parties for these kids.. live bands, formal gowns, limos, catered food.
Now there's an idea - make the kids clean up. Doh And I totally don't get the ginormous parties that some kids have - I mean, they rival weddings in a lot of cases!

Roll Now that is pretty funny.

Ugh... I feel like i have 100 things to do today, but I really need to watch it and not overdo it. I am definitely needing to go shopping, so I best not wear myself out with other crud. I have a couple things I *have* to mail out today, so post office and grocery shopping @T are my 2 "must dos" today. I am just going to focus on that, and try not to drive myself nuts with the other stuff!!

Uh oh... it's time!!

Umizoomi interruption**********

I can show you anything.... on my belly belly belly screen...

back to your regularly scheduled TCC thread****************

So.... aside from my grocery needs today at T, I have JF, SB, and Biore on the list. Is the apparel q still good? I am wondering if they marked stuff down to 75% finally. If so... I may be grabbing a few goodies for the kids! Grr... I know I'm missing something!

EEK! Call the newspaper office. A lot of times they'll have someone bring or mail you an insert.

I actually never bought one yesterday. A lady from church sent home the inserts with hubby, so that was nice, but I forgot about the Target RX q. I hope the store has some extra ads with the q in them!

Aww, where are your kiddos going?

MOT2~ if the little girl wanted to be a princess, then the Mom could have had stuff for the little boys to be knights in shining armor. Maybe even bought some little foam swords or something. Sorry your little guy was left out Frown

Ugh. Weekends are especially short when you work every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I hate this new location that I've transferred to. But on the plus side there are 5 or 6 good T's within easy driving (there's no ST for almost 200 miles though). I need to run 2 errarnds which take me right past T so I guess I need to put together one (er maybe 2 quick plans.
