Teri, if your downstairs is comfortable and the upstairs is still warm/hot, your AC unit is likely working just fine. It's because heat rises and you will need to run a fan up there to suck out the heat and possibly put in a portable a/c unit. I live in a ranch now but I hated that about my two-story. The AC was amazing downstairs but never could get the upstairs quite cold enough for me. That's one of the reasons I decided to buy a ranch this time around. I am NOT a heat person - got rid of a brand new car (mini-van) and lost my butt because it didn't cool off quickly enough for me. Wouldn't hurt to call the AC guy though if you haven't had it serviced yet since you've been there.

The AC man was just here last week because it wasn't working properly. It actually had too much freon in it so he had to let some out. I have ceiling fans in all the rooms upstairs and keep them running all the time. I did notice that I could see the sunlight through the attic opening so I'm thinking I'm letting in alot of hot air through the attic. DSIL is up there putting weather stripping and a latch right now. We tied our record high today so I'm thinking it's just the crazy heat.

and.....speaking of DSIL and DD, they have changed names yet again (though she is still determined to use OLIVE for a middle name Annoyed)

I have heard sooooo many people say that the first time they vaccumed with the Dyson it picked up a TON of stuff. Mine too. We got one free through dh's work's points/incentives for selling stuff-type program. It is one of the smaller ones and I just love it as our house is smaller anyway and it isn't so heavy.

I was kind of glad I got sidelined with dd's incident this morning since I didn't get out to T. until later this evening. Tons of stock on SB products and all those coupons to go with them, had a wonderful jedi too. I usually hate shopping in evenings but I might have to do this more often!

I am going to go to bed. Very tired.

Up at 4.. Did FM yesterday and today....My combined total was $420.. Weather....You will not believe me...Dia stated it got hot for her yesterday during her sale. Well by afternoon I was putting on a sweatshirt.. and we are two hours apart from each other at the most.
Nice to get see Dia and was it Gator? get $400+ that in a day. I will be selling again in a month.

Also saw the note for Wags deals...I will reread that later and think some up. Not too sure if this is going to be a nap, or am I going to sleep for a couple of hours. But I will get that done.
Did stop at two wags and make out like a bandit...not a badger.

She really likes the name but is worried it sounds too much like her own name. Her name is Emily (we actually spell it Emalie)

For those needing a fan to boost their a/c in this hot weather, I bought one of these at T yesterday. It works fairly well and is very quiet. Was $35 sale price, I think it's $40 regular price.
