There are so many scams on CL I would be afraid to buy a GC from there. Maybe they got tired of paying the bay's outrageous fees who knows. I see no difference between someone selling them there and someone selling them on the bay though Dontknow

Why would you sell a T gift card when you can turn it into real money by buying a Visa/Amex card? Only lose out on $50 as opposed to the $100. Not a savvy shopper, obviously. Wink

So ... my anniversary was yesterday and hubby and I got to go out! Its kinda funny because I had completely forgotten about it until last Thursday when hubby had to remind me. We were discussing plans for Mon evening and he kept trying to hint and then finally just came out and told me it was our anniversary and we weren't doing anything besides celebrating. Big Grin Felt kinda silly...

My sister babysat (and cleaned my kitchen!!) and we went for dinner and then drove out to a nice shopping center and just went shopping. No Target, no coupons, just browsing shops and whatnot. Felt nice! Got some great deals at Old Navy.

Planning on getting my shop on today. Got lots of deals to take advantage of.

But first ... a cup of coffee!!

Good Morning All...

Hope we all have a great day today.

Yesterday....for me was interesting. Three bad events make a good ending.

About 8 in the morning I realized I had to drive south to pick up my badge for work. Left it in my car and I was borrowing a van for the FM, which I had already figured I would not return until after I was done with work. Well...Plans stated I NEED my badge to get into work..and then the one to hang around your neck to state you have a gaming license.

Off to drive the hour south to get my car. Stop at a gas station to top off the tank.Smilie Well, get back into the van....it doesn't start, battery dead. Nice couple behind me jump started it for me. But it meant I was NOW 15 minutes behind schedule to get my car.

Get my car. Left there on time.

Get to work and check to see where I am scheduled to work. Okay...Pit 6 BJ ...Good..WHAT!!!!! I was supposed to be at work 10 am not noon. When am I ever start at 10. I am two hours late. One point given to me for being over an hour late. There goes my perfect attendence. Geeessssh.

Good ending is this cute new phone which I haven't mastered. I read about the new hidden deal at Wags for the Neutrogena. I found them. Bought three little face cleansers for ,74 each minus $2 ecotrin RR paid .34..Received back 10RR. Did that 12 times. Cashier said I could go back and get more. Smilie

Nice ending. just finished getting all envies I owe to peeps done. Now to get cleaned up and out the house.

Will stop at the union hall to see how close they are to calling me back.

I love Emma too. But I hear ya on the most popular name list. Luckily, I didn't have to make the tough decision for a girl's name. There were so many more names on the girl list. My SIL wanted to name a girl if she would have ever had one. Heaven Lee!! And did not appreciate that we said uhm we see stripper in that their girls future laugh out loud

Evan (5) Donovan (4 months) Arryanna (8) No Landon but so close to being a Landon Donovan DH argued a no Frown But love the name regardless and the man as well Teehee

I musta got too hot. I mowed this morning (sounds familiar huh). I finally finished...I came in and drank my required 64 oz of water, but then I felt sick...run towards the bathroom... vomit all over the bathroom floor (at least I made it that far). And for the record, it was just water, as I haven't eaten anything yet today.

The cat looked at it like WTF? laugh out loud I feel better though Unsure

My first two, Jaden and Lillian, I had never met another child/person with their names before I chose them. But once they were born, its like these people come out of the woodwork! And my son's name did make the most popular list, which shocked me. I think my daughter's name is on there, as well, just further down. It is still far rarer to meet a Jaden than, say, a John. But for a while, it seemed to be the "it" name for celebrities. NOT why I chose it, by the way. laugh out loud

I haven't looked at the stats for Eva (Evangeline), but I'm guessing its probably on the list somewhere. I just love the name, so I don't care. Big Grin And hubby put up no argument, I think because he has a secret crush on Eva Longoria Parker (and Tony Parker is his favorite player right now).
