It is actually our 20th, and he is back in ND (where we moved from a year ago) for work. Will be back tomorrow night, and I told him he better have something good to make up for it!

I totally understand the bolded!!! My hubby used to get upset with all the "wasted" scrapbooking stuff I have, but now he LOVES my obsession! I just did a lot of orders this week from SF!! I can't wait for them to get here!!!

Electrician is coming to replace most of the light fixtures in the house. I think I'm gonna make sure he's semi-trustworthy and then let him know we're leaving. With the electricity off, there's nothing to distract the kids, its rainy outside, and he'll be all over the house, not just one room. And so I just know he will constantly have a trail of little kids behind him, uber-curious about what he's doing. Better for him and us to get out of his way! :no d:

I got an email from Hanes today and the subject line was: "Have you seen our famous lay-flat collar tees??" .................... Guess they did not get the memo on collars
I am thinking this week is cursed for me! After the incident with DD getting locked in her room on Sunday it has been one thing after another. It has been nothing but rain here the past few days and on Monday our dog ran in our back door from outside, slipped on the linoleum and fell from the landing down into the basement and on to the concrete
Yesterday the cat bit dd. She never bites?? And dd wasn't even really antagonizing her?? I don't want to have to get rid of her
And then, rant alert: today I had the biggest FIASCO at Walgreens....my Nivea bodywash did not generate a register reward so I had to deal with the most obnoxious asst. manager ever. I hate it when they don't know their own system.....she insisted it was because I used my $5 RR from a previous transaction and my $3 Nivea coupon. Told her she was wrong....then walks in this other lady who had been overcharged for something. Come to find out the cashier I'd had had forgot to ring up the Nivea, forgotten to give me my receipt, then SOMEHOW charged the lady behind me for the Nivea that had still managed to end up in my bag?????? The cashier runs back and apologizes over and over again; I told her it was OK, everyone makes mistakes. Meanwhile nazi-manager STILL does not get that *she* really should be the one apologizing. She finally gets my order re-rung giving me some BS about how Nivea is a P&G product and you can't use the P&G RR on another P&G product.........

And you would THINK that at this point she would realize that MAYBE it would be a good time to say "oops, sorry!" but NO she starts making up more crap and just keeps going on and on and on. I would have asked for the phone # for the district manager except for the fact that it ended up that once she finally got everything straightened out I had only paid .77 total for my purchase PLUS got the Nivea RR AND she gave me my original $5 RR and $3 coupon back and somehow I also ended up with $2.11 on a W card

I have not had a week like this for a loooooooooooooong time. Guess it was long overdue! It can only get better right??

Then, buy princess bedding, hang a gauzy bed tent, glue jewels on the lamp shade, etc. for DD.
For DS make the bed the rainbow - rainbow sheets or a comfortor set. Hang a mobile of rainbows above the bed or a spinning crystal to catch the light and throw rainbows everywhere.
This way, you can change it up easily when next year DD wants mermaids and DS wants cowboys. LOL
