wow long posts in here last night. My thoughts, again, on calling corp. It would have to be something very very very major for me to do it. When I compare all the great runs I've had over the years to the bad ones, the good ones FAR outweigh the bad ones so it's to my advantage to let the bad ones go. Was it 2 years ago now that all the targets had photos of the fraudulent q's posted at each register? Trying to get them to take an IP was almost impossible then, but that blew over pretty quickly IIRC.
I have one store in my area that the manager really started cracking down on the one tq per transaction this past year. One day I was in line to check out and when I pulled out my q's, he came over and told the cashier he would take over. He spread all my coupons out and one by one started saying 'we can only accept one of this, and this. I just let it go and took the loss. Waited awhile to go back to that store and when I went back, no problems. The great thing about T is that they have a high employee turnover
The talk of Starbucks GC's makes me wish another good q would come out. It's been so hot here that I would love a good q to use on the bottled fraps so I could have some nice cold coffee.
Since no one has talked poop I'm adding in the mandatory poop talk. I'm up very early this morning as I have a sick yorkie who alerted me at 5 am that she had to go out. Unfortunately, she didn't make it . Nothing like waking up to that

Weight- I'm a chubby person myself so that's why the analogy came to mind so quickly. I shush my kids from making insensitive remarks and it bothers me when adults think they can say whatever comes to mind.
Shopping addiction- I KNOW I have one. My older kids used to be dressed head to toe in Gymboree or Gap, I absolutely had to resell on eBay to roll the money into the new season's wardrobe. Being able to feed my shopping addiction with coupon usage is better for the wallet.

I don't think it is the place of anyone outside my immediate family (ie dh or the kids) to comment on what I should do with my stockpile, or the stuff I have stored in my basement. There are things I have moved for 15 years of military moves because I want to pass them down to my kids, for example. Or the bin of clothing I bought for our daughter that never came home with us. That's MY business. My rule of thumb is, if the living room or kitchen start to resemble something that might possibly be seen on an episode of Cops, it's time to clean.

About that list about the income. I knew I was poor! My county is on at least two of them and I am in the midwest. Ozaukee County, WI. So there I have been right all along. I even wondered if that counts for all the people who live here in my building that are just weekenders. My building is about half and half; fulltime residents versus there summer/winter getaway.
Good News
I start back at K. On Monday the 28th, First shift and it is a temporary job with the possibly last until Christmas. I will get either my last rate of pay or the transfer pay. Whichever is higher. I receive 3 weeks of vacation as soon as I start. Health and all the other insurances. But...this area of the company usually has a shut down period, Either a week or two. But that is alright, I am getting paid. I got to chose between four different jobs. Three out of the four I have actually did, love that I got a choice.
Also thought about it. Target is so close to K, I remember doing runs almost all the time after work. My goodness I am so happy.
I decided to put in my resignation at the casino, Which will be ok. They are almost always hiring dealers. Was told to reapply two weeks prior to when I want to start back. Nice iinformation. Was reminded to practice dealing before I reaudition. Otherwise I have to go back to dealer school.

Then, stopped by a Publix to get sour cream to make my blackberry pound cake. Saw a big fat tearpad - Save $.50 off any Annie's Homegrown or Annie's Naturals products. Almost wetted my pants. This week at Kroger, Annie's Homegrown Mac n' Cheese is on sale for $1. The MQ doubled to $1 means freebies! Took 1/3 of the tearpad and skipped all the way to the register to pay for my sour cream. While I was checking out, I saw the expiration date - 5/30/2010.
Today was my day to find kick-ass EXPIRED tearpads.

.teri. I agree with you that you have to pick your battles. I have had issues with coupons before at T,.50sobe here or a $1 there, no big deal I'm not going to get upset over a few dollars. My issue last night was the anger that the GSTL showed me. If it was just the q issue I would have came back in an hour and did the transaction again but for someone in customer service to come over to me already angry and not even listen to me was more than I could handle. I have never been treated like that before and never want it to happen again. Not to mention the fact that the gcq expired yesterday and my T has been OOS on sb sprayer for the last week!
As for flying under the radar, I don't bother. I almost always keep my order quantities to a max of
4/item and always use the proper q's so I don't see a reason to worry about it. If this GSTL has a problem with me calling corp on him that is his issue. Targeting me and my coupon use is harassment and I will call again if need be.
Anyhoo, does anyone else feel like today is just a bad day. Everyone is in such a weird mood that I think I should just go to sleep and start the day over tomorrow!

But you all know we can coupon shop. If I look at it another way. There are many people out there that would of lost their homes because of the drastic paycut I got.
Unemployment here pays 363/wk. My house payment is 1150/month plus 200 for condo dues.
If I didn't do what I did, Working two jobs. I would of lost everything too. But between everyone here that shops for all our own reasons. We can get the nicety things we couldn't afford without coupons. I was able to get by and that is so important. Didn't even have to empty out my 401's either. So pooie, on those people who cannot understand shopping for free and going to the FM.
Just to let you know you guys were informed before most of my family. Only guy friend, one of my aunts know and the person that told me that K is calling back peeps. Probably let the family know later. Sometime between the 28th.
