No Cesar q's at my Publix. Only 1.00 off Goodbites. Maybe that is still the old q and they haven't reset ours yet. I'll be going again tomorrow for more free blueberries and waffles so I'll look then. All was not lost, I found some great winetags, trifold 2.00 off steak purchase, 1.00 off marinade purchase and 1.00 off veggie purchase woot
I am so jealous of those veggie ones!! I've never been able to find wine tags around here. Frown

They are really mad they keep missing the show ... they don't care a fig about the tornado warning or the instructions to take shelter! LOL

Tomorrow is my first root canal ---- I am petrefied and I must have been clenching my jaw all night last night because the whole side of my face hurts .... I think that at 10:30 tomorrow morning I am going to claw the arms off the chair!!!! I am the world's BIGGEST chicken!!!

[snip]

Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuude - something must be done about that!!!!! We are excellent searchers for deals --- well 'specially Mofo when she has time to stop by .... What are you looking for?
[snip]

hug I so hope it goes smooth and easy for you tomorrow. Comfort

And Roll about the kiddoes!

as for the camera... what I want is one thing - what i can afford is totally different... laugh out loud I *want* a digital slr (preferably canon that will take the slr rebel lenses cuz I have a couple lenses...) I think I can afford one of those kid's 35 mm cameras at WM. Roll

I suppose I should just go for a little camera that just takes decent pics that I can post and send to friends/family, etc...

woot

I just won my poker tournament!!! The prize is entry into another tournament... laugh out loud That tournament, however, wins money! Now *that* would be sweet!!

Scratchhead I guess one of the neighbors with a riding lawnmower took pity on me last week, as my lawn's recently been mowed (I noticed it on Sunday, so I guess they mowed it Saturday while I was out wagging....) I didn't think it needed it yet, as I mowed last Saturday morning, and last Sunday morning, and Tuesday morning. How do you send them a thank you note or gift, when you really don't know who to thank?

Hi Dia....Those nice storms...did you blow them my way???

I was out shopping and the lights in the store were going off and on a wee bit. EEK!
I shopped and then I left for home. Lucky I did... I drove through downtown Milwaukee through the downpour but I missed all the fun. If I would of done my normal runs at the five stores. I would of been in the mess with all the tornado warnings and the winds and the hail and the rain. Lucky I was scared and called it a night and went home.

Tomorrow.. I get to pick up my badge for my return to work. Have to do a oil change and some shopping. Will see how much gets done.

I picked up a kodak 12 mm for around 70.00. It's not a Canon SLR, but it takes a good enough photo.

In my quick in n' out of Publix trip yesterday afternoon, I found this tearpad:

Free Cheetos (max value of $3.29) - any flavor/variety, 10 1/2 oz or smaller wyb 2 bags of Cheetos (any flavors/varieties, 7 3/4 oz or larger).

5 28400 41016 3

exp. 6/26/2010 (which is this Saturday).

If you can use this, I can ship it ASAP, hopefully in time before it expires.

ETA: Found a good home in 10 minutes. Thank you.

Good Morning People.....

Up and for the second time. DS wanted me to wake him up at 4. He has drill this week. Nice kid. Up for an hour and back to bed I went.

Now someone tell me what coupons I need to order. Which I should get done by tomorrow.

Brain is fried. Well maybe not. The storm has passed and I am still excited to know that the closest store to the new job is Target. Smilie

Dia ...hope the dentist is nice and the arms of the chair are still there after you leave.
Gator...nice to shop without the kid. Have STFC runs. I know you can.
Mom2.....Awesome news on the potty training. I would guess...at least six more months for the ds.

It's school supply time again! Great coupons inside the lunchboxes this year! One coupon is $1/3 Horizon singles milk. I know there is a SD'er who loves those. Another $1 off any Capri Sun, $5 Leap Frog, and GoGurt. I don't the coupons with me to list them all.

You are so close to having that baby, you must get one! Most all of the time, Target clearance decides the type of camera or items I buy. Teehee

Quote from meeshecat :
You BETTER have one before the baby is born... LOL I am so wrapped up in school but need a mental break LOL So I am on SD.. is that considered a break!?! HUGS!!
I think that counts! We've missed ya but school is so important keep working hard and hopefully your done before you know it.

Quote from ank220 :
I consider it a break. laugh out loud I take a lot of breaks lately.

I *should* be figuring up some runs.

DH want's to make something Thai tomorrow for dinner. Any suggestions??? He said maybe something spicy and nutty... Just wondering if there's anything other than the standard peanut sauce. Seems too easy... lol. (why I'm complaining about easy, I dunno...)
http://allrecipes.com//Recipe/aut...etail.aspx

I make one similar to this one:
http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art62682.asp

I never have fish sauce or curry paste so I add a splash soy sauce and I use curry powder. It's kinda like a soup and I serve the rice in a bowl and then ladel the soup over it. I use fresh potatoes either baby or I just chop up whatever kind I have on hand to baby potatoe size instead of canned and I boil them in water for about 5 or so minutes until they are almost done before I add them to the soup.

Organised my garage, sorted the items for a garage sale this weekend..Man it is a tiring job..I kept telling DH to just put it away in a donation pile...I hope I am able to sell it...
Oh good luck!! It is a lot of hard work but worth it once you get the paycheck.

Great news!!! So happy to hear it is working out better for you and the kids.

Quote from thismom4deals :
This is what I SO need to be doing. I put a few things in my MIL's gs last fall to see how they'd sell around here and they sold well so I started 'collecting' things to have one of my own this spring/summer and let's just say my 'collection' is getting rather large:lm ao: I had to reorganize it all today......pretty soon I'm gonna get the hoarder classification if I do not get this gs thing going:tee hee: I just don't know where to start, I've never had my own before! Good luck, hope you make a lot of $$$.
Good luck!! If things sell well in your area I would start the pricing at no less than half of retail. One thing that I noticed helped was I put retail of local groceries prices to compair. Those Airwick I Motions are $16.99 at Ridleys!!

Yeah I need to have a GS this year --- I am hoping to do well - but I am so NOT organized!!!! LOL Hope you have a successful one!!!!!
My kids would be upset about the interuptions but they would be freaking out about the tornado warnings!!

I've never had a root canal but DH has had several. Pray for you and hang in there girl! I think if you focus on how much better you will feel once it is all over with that might help. Ask for pain meds if you think you need them. DH got a few Loritab after one root canal that was ummm kinda a hard one. You will be fine! :hugs:

I am NOT so organized either but I HAVE to have a GS. We really need the $$ and I have been collecting all winter. I don't have one of those nifty price guns and it drives me bonkers to try to price everything individually so I section off my tables and have a row of same items and make one price sign. Kinda like this:

Hair care $2 each
Compair too:
Smiths $5.47 ea (pantene)
Smiths $8.29 ea (John frieda)

Dia - Been Pray for you today... I imagine you aren't up to being online too much, but just know we are thinking of you. Comfort

Nikayla - thanks for the recipes! I can't believe I missed the cashew chicken recipe on allrecipes.com (I *love* that site). The other dish sound fabulous too! I think I am going to wimp out and do an easy grilled chicken with peanut sauce and noodles for tonight, but these are going in my faves for next week (or maybe even this week - they look so yummy.) I have all the ingredients here for the chicken and peanut sauce tonight and I won't have to go back out in the heat! My dumb van doesn't have air conditioning - and if I'm hot in the front seat, I can not imagine how bad it is in back where the kids would have to sit. Frown

I'm thinking we need a cooler. Maybe then I could go shopping and not worry about everything getting too hot while I drive home!

Ugh... I have a headache coming on. Frown

Hi, everybody!! Wave So hot here today! Went out with my sisters for lunch, and hit up a Wal-Mart. Unbelievably busy, and I have no idea why. It was almost like a weekend day! Lines everywhere, and they even had a reasonable number of registers open. I *never* see my Target that busy, except maybe on Black Friday. shake head I lurve me some free stuff, though, so I braved the lines with a cart full of wipes, razors and nail files. Wink

Gearing up for a Target run, but I'm not sure when it will be! Hubby's working late tonight, and then we're taking the kids to a running track so they can ride their bikes and we can get some exercise, too. Wish Target stayed open 'til 11 in the summer!!

But ... my sister, who is off this week (she works at a private school, and they take a week off between school and summer camp) has graciously agreed to watch the kids during naptime tomorrow so I can go shopping!! bounce Now to figure out if I want to do a Target circuit, or Rite Aid, or Walgreens, or try to squeeze in a little bit of each. Decisions, decisions!! I very rarely get to shop by myself during the day, so the options are just a bit overwhelming... Big Grin Oh, and I promised her I'd pay her in Target gift cards or a shopping spree in my stockpile, so we'll see what she picks.

Off to clip coupons and fold laundry!!

Oh, and I got that Febreze BOGO in my Red Plum in the mail, too. Its the one that serves as a "wrap" for grocery ads, etc. Usually has Papa Johns coupons on it or whatnot. I'm guessing the only way to get extras is to dumpster dive.
