It would HELP if they wouldn't stock the Lysol right next to the clorox, especially since the bottles are the same shape and size. Don't they REALIZE those clorox q's are hard to come by and we dont need to waste any???? Annoyed

Teehee can you tell I did the same thing?
lol!!! glad i'm not alone. Yes, i thought "wow, they lowered the price!! woohoo!!!" nope, just wrong product!!

The postal worker (sounds formal) handing out oversized mail usually sees me and offers me more from the trash can they have in the back. She said something about it not really being addressed to any one person- I think the inserts say resident or boxholder or something in the address box not any person's actual name.
That is cool! Did you talk to them about it - or they just offered when you were looking? Hmmmm

Quote from ladycat :
I raise chickens.

The one in my avatar isn't mine, though, that one belongs to a friend. Her name (the chicken's name, I mean) is Ms. Knowitall and she's companion to a goat.
Aww that is cool!!! I think that is great that she has a goat as a companion -- I think we need a goat to keep all these dogs (who really are just short clumsy moose) in line!!! LOL Great pic!

That's neat. Someday when I'm independently wealthy I'd like to have a farm and raise maybe a dozen pigs at a time. For some reason I've always had a thing for pigs.
There are two people around this neck of the woods who share your love of pigs. I see one lady walking a little pot bellied pig all the time ---- and several blocks away there is a different lady who has a FULL SIZED (like the size of a Newfoundland) pig that she walks on a leash. He stolls along with her nonchalantly --- he is HUGE but friendly! We live in the city so no farms - they may be limited to 1 each - I dunno - bu you are not alone Smilie

I have had that happen a couple of times --- although not for quite a while - I about died!

She saw me looking and asked what I was searching for. It was the same day the local free newspaper is delivered and she inquired if I wanted copies of an article or the inserts. I told her it was a coupon and she laughed. But then she came back with fistful and told me to have a great day.

So when I was an undergrad, I was walking through campus on my way to the library. I felt a "snout" sniffing/nuzzling near my tooshie and figured it was a friendly dog. I turned around to pet it and it was the most ginormous pig I've ever seen! It was someone's pet and they were just taking it on a walk through campus. I jumped nearly a mile and almost Horse

I wish I was independently wealthy.

Or even dependently wealthy. Greedy

That is usually the main topic. Wink On that note lilB just went off iron suppliments so his poop will be returning to a normal color. It is so weird that iron makes poop black/ish. The first time I saw how black it was I was all like EEK! Sick vomit

I have thought about asking the postal employees for extra adds and what not but the ones who work here are so uber grouchy and there is always such a huge line. To get to our PO garbages which are built into the counters you have to open a big cupboard type door and then pull the trash can all the way out. I have never dared to do it.

Dia, so happy you have that appt over with. hug Now if you can just get through the next few days and start feeling better it will all be worth it.

Ank, how was your thia dinner? I had never tried thia food until a few years ago and I love it. I decided I had to try to learn to cook some of it as it was less expensive than eating out.

Megs, more good news woot Will be so nice when you can finally move on and move away.

I missed the couponing couple on wife swap, DH hates that show, but I tell him it makes me feel like we are a completely normal and well adjusted family. But then again I haven't seen the couponers one. Teehee

AM, so funny about the huge poop, have been thinking we need to start training lilB soon and I'm sure we will have many mishaps. Hopefully next time it will go inside the potty.

I was wondering if any one wants to mix it up a bit and trade some Clorox and Ziplock for some Smuckers and Starkist? I searched at least 15 different stores now and have yet to find a single Clorox or Ziplock! Frown I did manage to find one Smuckers display though. Smilie

Always!

Went to T today. Had the baby in the bjorn. She pooped while I was checking out (and you could totally tell she was pooping because she makes a grunting face). Jedi scanned faster than usual. Talk about a distraction. Roll

Dropped off some MP juice, clorox wipes and ziploc bags at DS's school when I picked him up. They are always so grateful and I'm always happy to not have to unload it when I get home. laugh out loud

Went to two T's no Aveeno in sight. Also no Lipton peelies. Anyone who can find some extras please let me know; I'd love to trade. With the hot weather here R is drinking me out of house and home when it comes to cold drinks.

Yay for being able to go off the supplements!

As for my Thai dinner... Hide DH had to meet with someone after work, so since he wouldn't be home I totally wimped out and had DD cook - she made shrimp alfredo. Wink

And definitely less expensive to make at home than eat out! I would highly suggest finding a local asian market if you don't go to one now. They are soooooo helpful and a lot cheaper in the produce and spices that you'll need. I still get things like chili paste and soy sauce at the grocery when I can get overage, but there are things that you can't get as easily or are just so overpriced at the grocery that I'm not even willing to spend overage on it. *laugh* I usually find coconut milk for 1/2 price what they charge in the grocery store!

I need to go look at the aveeno again in Deals - couldn't find any at my stores. What are the lipton peelies??

So, I went today and it turned out to be an unintentional ST$^#^$C run. I'm not sure how, I'm almost afraid to look at the receipt and figure it out, though I did use pretty much 1 TQ +1 MQ for everything I could!!

I got in the mail a 4th of july T mailer - had a $5/50 q on the front, and it has a Gold N Plump chicken TQ inside for $1.00/1 - used that on some chicken thighs today. Yay.

Also, baby section had some clearanced car/booster seats (guess I should've thrown one in after all...), clearanced high chairs, and some clearanced pack N plays - 15-30%. Tons of it.

Which Britax was clearanced recently? There's one lonely britax at my store, and I couldn't find a tag on it or a barcode that would scan. Frown I would so love to get it if it's "the one" - it'd be one of my first major clearance finds!!!

Lipton tea 12 pk bottles have $1.75/2 Qs on them (goes well with the $1/1 TQ). 100 Calorie pack TQ still works as well.

The Britax was the Roundabout 50 in Sutton pattern not the Marathon which is the one I want.
