This is a really good price. Pretty much the same price as their 256gb. This won't last. I picked up 5 for my retro gaming consoles.
You will wind up like me. Broke, with a house full of stuff.
seems like re-brand of this: https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-mi...B09X7DQJQL

walmart price is fantastic.

The incompatibility with Switch 2 is going to be posted on every SDXC card deal for the next year now, isn't it? Sigh.

Was gonna say the same thing. Unless it says it's for dash cams, don't use it for dash cams. I learned the hard way when my car was vandalized and the card had died on me.
Dang, I just bought this for a dashcam. How/why do these fail? Too much read/write? How did you realize it failed?

Yep.
These cards have an endurance rating. Meaning if you wrote the entire capacity of the card, and then overwrote it again, and continued to do this (like recording video to capacity then overwriting the oldest) this is just about the quickest way to burn out these cards.

Differently, if you write to it once, plop it in a gaming device, and only do small writes but mainly reads, that is much more gentle usage of the card and it would last a lot longer.

Damn this card is fast. I'm transferring videos to it right now, at 80MB/s. I wish I'd purchase more for my vitas and steamdeck.

Seemed like a good deal so I put one in with my grocery order, had it in an hour delivered.
Wish I knew how good a deal it was I might have ordered an extra.
Copied a 400 GB file to it for a tiny backup to keep in a file box. It was plugged in to a cheap usb-c hub with a microsd slot. I think it was averaging about 90 mb/s, in case anyone was curious.

Which handheld is best? I have a small Miyoo Mini.
Answer is really subjective based on what you're looking for, but for the more compact retro handhelds most stuff from Anbernic and Miyoo is really solid; the Miyoo Mini is still a very decent option in its size class. If you wanna know more about anything in the retro gaming/emulation space I'd highly recommend checking out the RetroGameCorps Youtube channel, he's got several roundup and "best of" vids talking about his favorite handhelds at the moment. He's also got a lot of great written guides on his website.
Side note: 512gb is probably way too much for a retro handheld, unless you're emulating more recent consoles (Gamecube, PS2, etc) a cheaper 128gb will be more than sufficient. To quote from a RetroGameCorps guide: "A 128GB card will allow you to load EVERY 8-bit and 16-bit game out there, just about all of the arcade games that work, and quite a few PS1, Dreamcast, PSP, and Sega CD games (those systems have the largest file sizes)"

Are these good for wyze cameras?
That's what I'm going to use mine for. Idk why not. Much faster than I'm using today. I'm going to test one in my GoPro Mini too just to how well it holds up.

I copied the contents from a full 128 Samsung Pro card to this 512GB. I set up the card readers and expected to go have dinner while it transferred. To my surprise, the progress bar absolutely took off. It took just a few minutes. I was seeing the same speeds mentioned here. These cards are legit.
