You dont have to do this necessarily as the verification code they send when you are purchasing the phone doesnt have to be the phone number you are porting. You can get the verification code on any number then when you port a number over you can use the number barn number for $5

Yes, but nobody sold you something for $125-200 under retailer wholesale cost.
You get what you pay for.
You can buy this phone for more without the requirements.
If they did not require this some folks would buy dozens to resell (which I have no exact issue with other than it make such a deal impossible to offer)
Decide for yourself.
It's really no different from walking into T-mobile and signing a contract to get a 'free' or subsidized iphone. They take your id there.

After an hour on the phone with chat. They were able to add it manually to both of my accounts. When you login your account go to account --> Manage My ExtrasMine only showed "total wireless protect"I started a convo on live chat and then she called. The CS rep at first said my plan does not qualify. It must be the $50 or $60 plan. I told her that it was under the $165 plan as well. After an hour she was able to add it. Now I see Disney Plus under Manage My Extras.
I tried the same - started with chat... the got a call back.. was redirected to someone, was on hold for 30 min..and finally that agent denied me the Disney plus Premium offer. I do have screenshots that show Disney plus as a part of the offer during purchase (it comes up when selecting the plans) .

I am wondering if there was any trick/ tip you might share to convince the agent to add Disney+ premium to your account?

I am Inclined to go through the FCC complaint route if this doesn't workout. Any tips on how to go about the FCC Complaint (like attaching proofs etc). DO these MVNOs respond well to FCC complaints?

Can anyone help me thru this nightmare?
Been trying to do this for a week. It keeps declining my payment whether it's over my 2 cards or my PayPal.
(1) It ok'd my infimobile port (T-Mobile esim) (2) Positive id'd me. (3) verified my email
I've tried:
3 diff browsers (cleared cookies, uninstalled extensions, turned off vpn).
2 different computers and an android phone.
Called my bank (they see the attempts but said there is no block on their side).
ON PHONE: Total rep said they thought that maybe the email is linked to an older total account but I've never been a customer b4 & why did it not stop me and ask for the password if that is the case. She then scheduled a call back for next day (spoiler: they never called)
ON CHAT: Total rep said my porting number is a verzion number. It's actually a T-Mobile specific esim from Infimobile. Chat went non-responsive after that.
I may try to start over with a brand new email address one more time from the beginning (since chat didn't have any record of my infimobile number)
Any ideas guys? This has been an exhausting ordeal.

Your account is flagged. It's either because your shipping address is flagged(most likely) or you have used a VPN at the time of creating your account. The message you're getting is misleading because it's not a payment issue despite saying so. Are you physically located in the US?

I haven't tried to order two together in one order. I have however ordered the second one after receiving and activating the first phone. The price was the same for the second phone FYI.

Yes, I'm in Oregon. I think u figured it out: My shipping address is a postal service (cuz apartment complex has a lot of "missing" packages). I did try using the home address later but maybe it was already flagged & too late. Thx for taking the time, Adealgrabber85

You're welcome. You can also try to see whether the postal address is still stored in your address book and remove it from there, because the presence of a flagged address even if it's not the default address it may affect your ability to place an order. Just a thought. Good luck!

In your case, another workaround will be give address of leasing office of your apartment community. After your package get delivered there, pick it up by showing your ID and sign it. This way you can avoid chances of package theft or if package requires signature during delivery.

To redeem the offer you must make an eligible purchase at totalwireless.com. Not eligible for purchases of plans/airtime & accessories. To earn the payout, you must be a Capital One cardholder or bank account holder, and logged in to your account on capitalone.com or the Capital One Mobile app.

not valid on plans /airtime per the terms
I am a capital one holder but let's see what happens. I did read those T/C but I think it "should be OK because I am purchasing a phone with plan. I think if you just purchase a plan and accessories it will not work. Let' see what happen. I will update when I get an reply from Capital one.

2 days after activation I also received an email with breakdown of the plan and it shows Disney Plus
