You can buy this phone for more without the requirements.
If they did not require this some folks would buy dozens to resell (which I have no exact issue with other than it make such a deal impossible to offer)
Decide for yourself.
It's really no different from walking into T-mobile and signing a contract to get a 'free' or subsidized iphone. They take your id there.

Nope, my 2nd order cancelled. I think tw is tracking shipping address as well. My wife ordered 2nd one, but it got cancelled
Just use a regular number at checkout. Then when you receive the phone you can use the text now number to port

How did you get it? To be I see full price?
I got my first in April for $225, on May 1st I ordered 2 each for $165. 2nd cancelled after couple of hours. Today I got the 1st(order placed on May 1st) phone and activated it.
