wow , your right... I just double checked and realized I bought them also for that same price.. For some reason I thought they were 179 then .. Makes me wish I would have bought 2 packs of two at that price Smilie

I'm aware that the 9ah batteries don't quite fit in some of the tools with waterproof battery housings- do the 8ah ones fit or are they the same size as the 9s but with fewer internal cells?

I have one 9 amp and about four 8 amps.. They are almost identical in size and shape.. according to my wifes food scale the 9ah is 41.9 ounces and the 8ah is 40.0..
I run them both in my water proof housing tools I just dont / cant shut the outter lid all the way .. Example: I use the misting fan in my bedroom at night (without the water hooked up to it) and i use the larger battery so that I dont have to change it out but about once a week. and on my telescoping spin brush , even though i use it with water the water does not get anywhere near the battery.
