Context clues.

He asks if it is composite leather. It isn't.
This question tells you he is looking for a ball better to or equal to what he has or is using. The Molten Fiba ball which is probably the 3800 series. Composite leather.

It can be assumed that any ball listed for $20 and described as indoor / outdoor is not composite leather. Most people are not using a composite leather ball outside.

Is this composite leather? Can't find actual material, just generic descriptions. I use the Molten brand FIBA ball and love it, but if this is great quality and only $20 then it might be worth it.

It says indoor outdoor, it won't feel like your current ball.

How do you know what his current ball is ? And how does that answer his question?

You are correct that I was talking about the 3800 series. But FYI, the Molten FIBA ball is composite leather, is indoor/outdoor, and many people do use such balls outdoors. The one I'm talking about is only $40 on Amazon right now. I stopped using rubber balls when I was a kid. Of the composite leather balls, the Molten 3800 has been the best value and feel IMO.

This is one of 5 balls I have currently. Like many I am constantly searching for an outdoor version of the Evolution, my go to indoor ball. The Molten 3800 is the best outdoor ball so far, and the ball we use for all our games. I also have an NBA Authentic which we used, but it was pretty worn after a year playing an average of once a week. I picked this ball up because it seems quite nice for the price. Unfortunately we haven't played with it yet, so I really have no good comparison. It likely won't see game use until the Molten dies.

Thanks for this feedback, I'll have the Molten on price alert, currently $40. I'll use my Rubber Wilson Pro outdoor ball for now.

Walmart has it for $27, but my extension says there's a warning for a new Seller, so I'm not sure if I should get it or not.
