Context clues.

He asks if it is composite leather. It isn't.
This question tells you he is looking for a ball better to or equal to what he has or is using. The Molten Fiba ball which is probably the 3800 series. Composite leather.

It can be assumed that any ball listed for $20 and described as indoor / outdoor is not composite leather. Most people are not using a composite leather ball outside.

Walmart has it for $27, but my extension says there's a warning for a new Seller, so I'm not sure if I should get it or not.
Gotcha - Thanks! Looks like conflicting reviews on Amazon on if the Molten Size 7 is actually a 29.5 size.

Outstanding deal on a great overall basketball. I picked one up locally for $24.99, and after airing it up and playing a couple pick up games, I went back and got 2 more. I keep one for indoor use and one for outdoor use and one for future use. The construction and overall grip/feel are better than most of the stuff out there. The only thing that comes close are the Nike/Jordan brand balls, but those cost $75+.

Is this a good deal? Amazon has Gold color edition for $26 and other sites have similar balls for $25-$30 range. There are few others listed above by other SDers for similar range, just not sure if this is something special because I just want to stop buying balls that get destroyed on blacktop. I always figured it's better go with plastic type of balls since they have more traction and durable, but the LeBron Ball I got for $50 from Dicks also became way too smooth, lost the grip. I also got Jordan diamond design, also not good at all after few weeks outside, I really regret paying $50 for that Jordan ball.

These Wilson composite leather ball has decline in quality these recent years. They wear out so fast playing outdoor that I stopped using them 2 years go. I brought it like 3 times and each one wear out in 4 months. My friend brought one this year and it wear out in 2 months. They are so bad right now.

This ball is on the heavy side and color is pretty dark. The composite leather feels hard, not soft at all. Don't like it.
