Once you open it, it's recommended to eat it within a week. But if you vacuum seal and freeze it, you can definitely have a long shelf life. The Moutain House folks are helpful too, so you can always reach out to them directly.

These used to be a good value. But they trimmed the serving sizes down to ridiculous amounts. 280 calories is not a serving! You would need 2 servings to be full. So this is 5 servings in this can.

The taste really good. And the product manufacture date of the ones from amazon indicate they're from a new batch.
In contrast, I was disappointed with the Augason brand, also purchased from amazon. They're fairly old and the shelf life don't match what's on the description. Read the reviews.
