buying direct from Chinese manufacturers

recently, Chinese manufacturers are flooding social media with trying to get around all the tariff challenges.

they're offering "buy from the manufacturer directly that make lulu lemon and Nike, or birkenstock"... and they direct you to buy through the Chinese apps.

I can't tell if it's legit or not... if it's a legit play, it's an interesting strategy to hurt American companies and have people buy dorectly... it could also totally be a scam..

anyone in the SD community seeing this recent pivot? amy insights or experiences from the community here on this recent change?

AliExpress is basically already buying directly from chinese manufacturers and you have a modicum of protection.
