I would go for an 8 port switch minimum though, managed or "dumb", as the incremental cost difference between a 5 port switch and an 8 port switch is not much, and keep in mind that you'll occupy 3 ports of any switch right out of the box (one port to uplink to the rest of your network, plus the two or more devices you needed the switch for in the first place). 5 ports only leave 2 additional ports for expansion, while 8 ports allow for 5 additional ports for expansion - I've taken too many 5 port switches to e-cycle events for friends and family who quickly outgrew a 5 port switch and replaced them with 8 port switches.
I bought a smart managed Netgear 16 port switch years ago because it was a smoking deal, and didn't utilize the smart functions (in my case, setting up a separate IoT VLAN for smart home devices) until years later - if you think you may ever get in to smart home stuff, these managed switches are great, my point being I didn't utilize the managed functions until years later, and at that point was glad the switch I had could support VLANs. HTH
EDIT: Regarding durability, I suspect there is very little if any difference in the lifespan of a "dumb" switch versus a managed switch - I have a number inexpensive consumer grade managed switches throughout the house that have been silently doing their jobs for years (both Netgear and TP-Link)

Also, I share the sentiment go with an 8 port if you can.

so far i have used just one unmanaged switch for two rooms, but need another box in the future. never needed one until recently, and it was a no brainer to set up thankfully.
