Still a great deal for the set.
I paid $1400+tax for this from the partner store 9 months ago.
FWIW, the LG G3 has an outstanding warranty. Better than the G4 series.
3yrs Full Coverage, year 4 /5 labor not included

GREAT DEAL, I have been researching LG OLED for a few weeks and waiting to see if Costco will mark down their 2024 models when the new LG 2025 models hit the floor. I checked out Consumer Reports and the 65" LG OLED65C4PUA C4 ranks among their top picks with a score of 89/100, their highest score was the LG OLED65G4SUB and that one they rated only a point higher at 90/100.
I paid with my AMEX to get the extended 1 year warranty coverage.
FREE SOUNDBAR, FREE DELIVERY, and FREE INSTALL all included, and with promo code PERKS10 my total was $1,124.98 before tax.
THANK YOU 120 Minute Man
Here's a suggestion: if costlier = better, why not GET OFF SLICKDEALS! I'm not sure you understand the purpose of this site.
@Shake-N-Bake thank you for your explanation of the led ambient lighting (backlight leds, edge leds?) as I didn't even know this was a thing. Gotta research more.
From rtings:
Overall, QD-OLED seems to be on a path to being declared the winner, but there are still some noticeable downsides. If you often watch TV in a bright room, the superior reflection handling and higher peak brightness of pure whites on WOLED panels make them a clear winner. The overall performance of each TV is more important than the specific panel used, and due to differences in specific panels, the best one overall depends on the individual TV. For lower-end or mid-tier OLED TVs, QD-OLED seems slightly better, but higher-end WOLED panels with MLA deliver significantly brighter highlights and better reflection handling.
Both are fine, how and where you plan to use the TV determines its general impact. QD-OLED is newer tech, and tends to be more expensive in like for like situations.

Same. Been waiting for that price on 77 and slept on it …. Damn
But I'm also with you - scared that if I wait too long then the deal will pass!
I'm looking to upgrade to an OLED. Would this be an excellent replacement option, or should I hold off until a Black Friday deal?
