But I totally agree with your statement though about the headlights turning the entire rear view mirror into a white screen on cheap quality cameras, but that doesn't seem to be an issue for this camera, or brand.

Give it some slack, or run the cable through the conduit the car's existing wires run through.
I bought 2 for mine. Every 6 months or so I'll swap them. Take the existing, plug it into my pc, do a full low level format/scrub to ensure it's still good, rinse, repeat.
Which card brand do you recommend?
A bit of a plus is the SD card that comes with it is a Lexar. I am unable to verify that it's not counterfeit, but I'm going to use it for a while before replacing it since it is name brand.

Let's try this again. MY BOI!! Straight up without being a bully or jerk, honest and genuine. This comment here is 🔥.
Love you guys <3
I don't know if they make extension cables for these, but for my SUV, the cable wasn't long enough. I took an old aux cable (the kind with headphone wired connectors on both ends), cut off both ends, cut the rear camera cable, patched in the aux wire in (just make sure same color wire of the camera cable goes to same color), and it worked. (Worth nothing I did not buy this particular dash cam, but a similar looking one.)
