Heading in the right direction although last time there was a massive oversupply of NAND memory 1TB drives were down to $29.

You've been saying this on every NVME thread.

What you're not factoring in is the price on anything made overseas is not coming down anytime soon. Even with a surplus, there's simply no reason to not impose a markup.

Prepare for $39 to be the new $29.

The Pro drives with the Phison E18 controller likely have the "read degradation" issue where reading from old files becomes very slow over time. All Phison E18 drives have the issue and AFAIK only the Kingston variants have a firmware fix so far. The MP600 GS is Phison 21T based and should be ok.
