Micro Center has a Mini-LED QLED 100" Element 4K Google TV on sale for $1499 (List Price $1999).

Model #: EMQ600AE100G

Link: https://www.microcenter.com/produ...art-led-tv

It looks to be a very "bare bones" model - i.e. it only has 2 HDMI ports - although my guess is that this is typical for a brand such as Element.

On the plus side, it's a 144hz Mini-LED QLED set that supports VRR/AMD FreeSync. It has "over 800" Local Dimming zones - not sure if that's above or below the average for a TV of this size.

One notable thing is that the stand is narrow, at only 27". This is what originally caught my attention as it can theoretically fit on my existing TV stand.

The other thing was that the Micro Center e-mail states "Free Local Delivery on any new TVs 65" or larger starting at $499", but this is not indicated anywhere on the product page or in the cart - so this is something I'd verify with the store if you're looking to purchase.

Spec Sheet (on Product Page):

Quick Start Guide (on Product Page):

YouTube video from Element showing unboxing and setup:

I couldn't find any reviews or other helpful information online. I am curious to hear how it compares to the Hisense/TCL/etc. sets that are in this general price range.

If it is indeed a Mini-LED QLED set, it seems like a decent deal, at least on paper. It looks like the nearest-priced Mini-LED QLED TV set in this size start at $2200 at other retailers.

Interesting. Didn't know this was coming. I just had a TCL 98QM751G delivered yesterday for $2,185. It still has higher specs than this Element but the price is right for what it does have.

The closest competition is the TCL 98Q651G at $1,500 but it's not mini LED and has no local dimming. Same refresh rate though.

Will be interesting to see Rtings review of this Element unit.

TIL 95.5" rounds to 100"? Seems like an excellent price still for 96" mini-led with 144hz refresh rate.

Yup, that TCL is the closest thing I saw in the price range. It looks like Element added a Youtube Unboxing video of this new 100" TV to their channel about 2 months ago. I added it to the original post.

Given the narrow stand width and the potential for Free Local delivery, it's tempting to buy one as it'd be "drop-in" replacement for me, so to speak.

Yeah, that was interesting to me as well - Element is playing fast and loose with Significant Digits laugh out loud. I have seen 98" and 100" as the typical actual sizes from other brands in the "100" Class" segment.

At least Micro Center is transparent about it and puts it right in the Product Name.

I just got the Samsung 85" QNX1D for about 800 OTD. At the rate at which big TV prices are falling with competition of the lesser-known brands I might be forced to upgrade in 2 years. Very tempting this one considering this is mini-led.

I am debating going for something in the 85" range, vs. something in the 100" range. Not sure if it's worth it to pay double (or in some cases, more than double) to upgrade between the two sizes.

(Coming from a 65" Sceptre Non-Smart TV, which has been fine.)

If you do not mind upgrading in few years, get the 85". I think in 3 years we will have these 100" priced around what 85" goes for now. If not, get a good deal like this one. But do plan to have warranty added. Not sure I can trust Element for quality.

Tariffs? LOL it's going to be permanent pauses and re-pauses. What a joke.

How do you like the TCL 98QM751G?

I was between that for the size or the 83 inch LG B4 OLED.

That's a lot of weight (~166 pounds!) being directed to the center of a TV stand. Better make sure it's reinforced!

Wow, I did not know Microcenter carrier this shit brand.I will add my comment for every Element related post:

Please don't buy Element products. Bought a monitor from them. It's only last 4 months and now it gives me blank screen when I turn on. I cannot return it because it's over 90 days return policy. Spent a lot of time through many calls to their customer service. They tried to ignored me by chasing around like "I'm getting an update for your case", "Someone will give you a call back at the end of the day or in 24 hours". Never got a call back. They keep doing that until I gave up. Like just thrown away a couple of hundred bucks. This company is scamming people.

Love it so far. There are some firmware updates floating around that apparently adds features from the 2025 QM7K models that work on the QM7. Picture quality improvements included as well. I haven't tried it yet but most say it's well worth it.
