Starting to run out of toothpaste so I was hoping today's trip might yield an acceptable deal with a free ECB or bounce back offer or at least a coupon or something.

Best deal right now, in my opinion, is buy $50 in qualifying gift cards, get $10 ecb. The CVS gift card that says Thank you on the front works for the ecb deal. Especially if you get your RX from CVS, this deal would be easy to use. I use the CVS gift cards when I have a % coupon now, since ecbs reduce the value of the % coupons.

I loved how Vons had coupons for all of the Gain items. Some of them expired during the sale but they sent new ones. CVS doesn't do that. They take away coupons if you don't clip them right away and there's only one Gain coupon and it's usually for the item that's always out of stock. It was refreshing to do a coupon deal at Vons and have everything work right. I'm not used to that at CVS.
Does anybody think CVS is going to tighten up again? MonkeyDawn's post plus one I read on I

P.S. I'm not mentioning which items I'm buying because the local stores don't keep more than two of each on the shelf, and if you needed them you'd have already figured out what a great deal they are.
I ordered the Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Leave-In conditioner. They substituted it with Sleek & Shine Moroccan Hair Oil. I think I only paid tax on this, so not a big deal, but to me that's a very different product. Is it possible that Garnier wants them to push the oil? Or am I thinking into this way too much?

I think we all have our items that we like to buy with the % off coupons. I used to get 40% off double stacks all of the time and I would always use them. The gift card deal this week is a great way to pay the oop and make $10. I love these deals especially the gift card ones. I'm almost out of CVS and I don't want to get sucked back in. I love the detergent deals but they're messing around with the Tide price way too much and I never have a dq when I need it. I hate the flash deals and having to buy caramels to get the 10/70 coupon. I don't want to buy a bunch of products that I don't need every week. I have no place to put them. It would be different if CVS would mix up the sale items but it's always the same old boring stuff that they have to pay us to take. Tide is something that I need so it can be the same deal and I'll be very happy. I don't need more Garnier shampoo, Covergirl eye pencils, and Maybelline baby lips. I wonder if CVS will still have them on sale 10 years from now.

I luckily/ unluckily hit my max OOP on meds in January due to my Crohn's meds so all of my medica stuff is "free" after that every year.
CVS emailed me a $5 coupon. I havent clicked the get coupon link but it looks like just $5 off with no minimum for the coupon. Anyone know if that is true or will it print/ add to my app as a 5/20 or something...anyone know?
Since deal talk is low and I know I talked to a couple people here about it, we finally did our Disney trip earlier last month. Everything was fantastic (but no deals to be had at Disney lol). The weather was perfect and we had the best time with our friends celebrating my 50th. Then husband and I went on a cruise, which was also pretty perfect.
