The price for the 14-piece set is $20 lower than the price for the 8-piece set.

I know this is a stupid question, but can impact sockets be used as just standard sockets also?

Why do they omit the 20mm socket?

Doesn't look like it. It just comes on a rail probably clamshell package

The set comes with a plastic socket rail that you see in the product photo to keep them in place. There's no included case for the sockets.

its a 13/16ths socket pretty much. but for the most part 20mm isn't used by anyone. i think of a few odd GM parts use a20mm wrench but not a socket. all in all they omit it to cause ultimate frustration to those with tool OCD.

Mine came with a metal rail that actually is good quality and holds the sockets really well.

I've never needed a 20mm in all my years of wrenching. Now if they had 20 instead of 21 I would be mad.

Here's a chart of socket sizes needed for nuts and bolts of both the old and new standards. Not a 20 anywhere to be seen.

I ordered/received this same set last week. Mine came with a plastic rail in clamshell packaging. It holds the sockets just fine but I didn't receive a metal rail.
