Here's everything you need to know about Google Fi's Pixel 9 Pro + Pixel Watch 3 deal, whether you're paying upfront or financing. I also include credit pull details and monthly costs so you can decide if it's right for you.

Google Fi Pixel 9 Pro + Pixel Watch 3 Promo – Full Breakdown (With and Without Financing)

---

WHAT'S INCLUDED:

Pixel 9 Pro

$300 off instantly

Remaining $699 credited back over 24 months

Pixel Watch 3

$100 off via promo code (after phone ships)

Remaining $349 credited back over 24 months

Total Monthly Credits:
$29.12 (Pixel 9 Pro) + $14.54 (Watch 3) = $43.66/month

---

GOOGLE FI PLAN:

Unlimited Essentials Plan: $35/month

You must keep the line active and in good standing for 24 months to get all credits

---

OPTION A – PAY UPFRONT (NO HARD CREDIT PULL)

At Checkout:

Pay $699 for Pixel 9 Pro (after $300 discount)

Pay $349 for Pixel Watch 3 (after $100 discount)

Pay sales tax upfront on both

No financing, so NO hard credit check

Each Month (for 24 months):

Plan: $35

Credit: $43.66

Result: Your plan is fully covered and you get ~$8.66 extra per month, which can be used toward taxes or other fees (but doesn't roll over or get refunded)

Best for: People avoiding a credit check and okay paying upfront

---

OPTION B – FINANCE THE DEVICES (HARD CREDIT PULL REQUIRED)

At Checkout:

Pay $0 for the devices (except taxes)

Finance Pixel 9 Pro ($29.12/mo)

Finance Pixel Watch 3 ($14.54/mo)

This triggers a HARD credit pull

Each Month (for 24 months):

Plan: $35

Devices: $43.66

Credit: $43.66

Result: You still just pay $35/month total — credits cancel out the device payments

Best for: People who prefer monthly payments and don't mind a hard inquiry

---

AFTER 24 MONTHS:

You own both devices

Bill credits stop

You continue paying for the Google Fi plan ($35/mo unless changed)

Any leftover credit in a month does not carry over or get refunded

---

TL;DR:

You can avoid a hard credit pull only if you pay for BOTH the phone and watch upfront

You'll still get $43.66/month in credits, which more than covers the $35/mo plan

Any extra credit each month can only be used that month, no rollovers or payouts

Financing either device = hard pull

Just curious, if you take advantage of both the phone and watch offers, the up front cost (after discounts) is $1050 ($700 for the 9 Pro phone + $350 for the Pixel Watch) . ($1050 / 24 months) = $43.75. If the plan is $35 a month, are they sending you a check for $8.35 each month? I suspect hidden fees and taxes consume the remaining $8.35, but I can't imagine you would be paying much after credits. So you would be paying for the phone and watch and basically getting service for 2 years for "free". No clue if this is a deal.

If financing, remember to *Unfreeze* Credit file with Experian.

I forgot to Unfreeze and got denied. Had to get credit pull reset to try again after unfreezing credit file.

If you have your credit frozen, make sure to thaw Experian as that is what they check. I had some issues since mine was frozen

Yeah, I noticed it said you have to activate the watch when I was reading thru T&C. I guess my plan to sell it brand new in box won't work. I might as well wear it for a while and then sell it used (unless I love it).

"Phone and watch activation for monthly bill credits required by 30 days of shipment confirmation and must be active 24 months to get full value of the promotion."

Does that mean the watch has to be active for the full 24 months?
Ya this is less clear than some of the original responses said. The way I read it, the watch is just like the phone. The watch has to be activated on Fi and it has to remain active for 24 months to get the full credit.

So we won't be able to sell it for 2 years.

Try the 7 day trial to gauge for yourself, but DO NOT use your real/intended google account to signup for the promotionCreate a new google account, add it to your phone, and use that one to register with Fi for the 7d trial. Otherwise it will render you ineligible for this promotion as it considers you having had service within the last 180 days.
Is it just to email a different address? Or do i need to use a different name, address, and other contact info also?

Someone on Reddit said they didn't promotions applied to their bill and support just ghosts them, but people on Reddit said like it applied but like from second month onwards, like you won't get credit on first bill if it makes sense.

I had it happen on Cox Mobile too, like bill credit apply from 2nd bill onwards, but have to pay full on first bill.

Anyways, I do recommend people please take screenshots, do like web archive, get as many proof as you, Do like Print to PDF with time stamps, in case they deny offer you have proof

Maybe I should leave Fi so that later I can actually take advantage of deals like this... They used to take good care of their current customers
Current customers can buy pixel 9a for $299. No trade in needed, just need to have it on account for 120 days

Just ordered 2 phones. I understand the Google FI sim needs to be in the Pixel 9 Pro for 120 days. Assuming this is a physical sim, can I add an esim and switch to esim during this period or would it disqualify me from the promotion?

That person's issue was resolved. Let's not act like this is some big scam by Google.

Did some research and looks like both physical sim and an esim can be active at the same time. So a good solution for any one doing this deal just to get the Pixel 9 pro like I am.

Have a question. If you signed up for the 1 month trial of Gemini Advanced before, are you still eligible to get the 1 year free Gemini Advanced that comes with the phone? Thank you

Alright, well, I may have to re-think this deal. I was against it at first, until I signed up for the 7d trial to test it out on my current phone (pixel 7) -- and wow what a difference compared to Verizon. Verizon 5G in-city gets 28Mb/s -- Google Fi (no idea what tower/provider they're using) got 672 Mbps down 58 Mbps up which translates to 84Mb/s down and 7.25Mb/s up.. Which is pretty insane. Also where I live (out of city) Verizon gets 0.8 Mbps down (almost unusable) where Google Fi is giving 12 Mbps down. With that considered, I'm moving over to Google Fi. It's the same price I pay now ($35/mo for 15gb with Verizon) for 50gb with Fi? no brainer. I'm glad they have that 7d trial, without it I would have never reconsidered.Link for trial (no SIM needed, uses an eSIM and lets you swap between your current carrier than fi for specific things (calls/sms/data) which makes it even better/easier to test out:https://fi.google.com/about/free-trialThe only thing that concerns me still, after talking with a customer rep: Return window is only 15d and does not include "if you're not happy, no questions asked" type stuff. It has to be due to very specific circumstances for them to accept a return (it being faulty, doa, etc). So you better be sure about the commitment before you buy because if you change your mind "just because" within 15d you're SOL.
I think you can return for any reason within 15 days, at least when I tried to return it 2 years ago, I was able to get the return label without having to talki to anyone.
They also sent refund as soon as return label was scanned.

Note for anyone who sees my other post about trying out Fi service with their 7 day trial.

DOING SO MAKES YOU INELIGIBLE FOR THIS DEAL AS IT CONSIDERS YOU AN EXISTING FI CUSTOMER -- Customer support did NOT mention this at all when they recommended I try the 7d trial.

I assume you can work around this by using a separate google account for the order, subscription, etc, but that's not ideal for most people. That's absolutely ridiculous ... and customer support says there's nothing to be done about it.....
shouldn't be the case. trying out a service should still mean you are a new customer. they need to fix that then.

how's that possible? whenever you activate the line on a new device, the previous device is deactivated. the same line can not be activated on 2 devices at the same time.

The idea is that you'd have the physical sim used for the Google Fi number that was just activated and you can bring over your existing number as an esim so you can continue using your existing number on the new 9 Pro.

Is there a second credit pull when the watch is ordered later?
There will be no second credit pull and it will show you your remaining max credit allowed based on the first pull (minus the cost of Pixel 9 pro) which you can then use to finance the watch.
