Google Fi Pixel 9 Pro + Pixel Watch 3 Promo – Full Breakdown (With and Without Financing)
---
WHAT'S INCLUDED:
Pixel 9 Pro
$300 off instantly
Remaining $699 credited back over 24 months
Pixel Watch 3
$100 off via promo code (after phone ships)
Remaining $349 credited back over 24 months
Total Monthly Credits:
$29.12 (Pixel 9 Pro) + $14.54 (Watch 3) = $43.66/month
---
GOOGLE FI PLAN:
Unlimited Essentials Plan: $35/month
You must keep the line active and in good standing for 24 months to get all credits
---
OPTION A – PAY UPFRONT (NO HARD CREDIT PULL)
At Checkout:
Pay $699 for Pixel 9 Pro (after $300 discount)
Pay $349 for Pixel Watch 3 (after $100 discount)
Pay sales tax upfront on both
No financing, so NO hard credit check
Each Month (for 24 months):
Plan: $35
Credit: $43.66
Result: Your plan is fully covered and you get ~$8.66 extra per month, which can be used toward taxes or other fees (but doesn't roll over or get refunded)
Best for: People avoiding a credit check and okay paying upfront
---
OPTION B – FINANCE THE DEVICES (HARD CREDIT PULL REQUIRED)
At Checkout:
Pay $0 for the devices (except taxes)
Finance Pixel 9 Pro ($29.12/mo)
Finance Pixel Watch 3 ($14.54/mo)
This triggers a HARD credit pull
Each Month (for 24 months):
Plan: $35
Devices: $43.66
Credit: $43.66
Result: You still just pay $35/month total — credits cancel out the device payments
Best for: People who prefer monthly payments and don't mind a hard inquiry
---
AFTER 24 MONTHS:
You own both devices
Bill credits stop
You continue paying for the Google Fi plan ($35/mo unless changed)
Any leftover credit in a month does not carry over or get refunded
---
TL;DR:
You can avoid a hard credit pull only if you pay for BOTH the phone and watch upfront
You'll still get $43.66/month in credits, which more than covers the $35/mo plan
Any extra credit each month can only be used that month, no rollovers or payouts
Financing either device = hard pull

"Remain active and in good standing on the qualifying device for 120 consecutive days. Pausing, changing, or suspending the account will terminate the promotion. You must remain on a full service plan for the duration of the promotion."
"The device activator may switch devices after 120 days, but must keep their Fi service active in order to continue to receive the promotion bill credits."
Can you make phone calls/texts with this Pixel Watch 3 even if you leave the phone at home?
For example, a kid takes only the watch to school but not the phone.
My guess is YES, because this is an LTE watch and Google Watch help page says yes, but need confirmation from real users.
https://support.google.
Using your watch with Google Fi
When you use your Google Pixel Watch first generation and newer or Samsung Galaxy Watch5 and newer with Google Fi, you don't have to be connected to your Google Fi phone to call, text, or use data, no matter what plan you are on.
Although you can use your watch in the US, Canada, and Mexico, you don't have connectivity in other countries or regions. Your device connects through T-Mobile's network.
Thanks.
If you add a new user to your existing Google Fi plan, does that person qualify for this offer?
Answer from customer support:
Yes, according to the live customer support person.
First add the new person to the existing account.
Invite will be sent to the new person's email.
That person has to set up their Fi account, purchase this phone/deal in their name and it should work.
I haven't tried this yet, but would like to.
Did anyone already do this successfully?
Thanks.

- I placed an order for the Google Fi Pixel 9 Pro promotion on 08/25/2025, but it hasn't shipped yet, and the $761.10 (*for qualify new credit card cash back program within 3 months) upfront payment is still pending on my credit card account. Anyone in same situation or anyone received the phone already?
- I'm currently in my 5th month of a 12-month Mint Mobile service. Can I use Google Fi as an eSIM or physical SIM while keeping Mint Mobile as an eSIM or physical SIM? Later will port out my mint number into google voice and keep google wireless fi active for rest of 24 months
- Also, considering this Google Fi promotion requires a new, full-service plan for 24 months, which plan would be better for me: the Essential Unlimited plan at $35/month (currently on) + tax 10%-20% depend on your state or the Flexible plan at $20/month + $10/GB of data *=$30 (up to $60 for 6GB totally $90, then data is free)? The promotion mentions I need to remain on a full service plan for 120 consecutive days for the $300 discount and 24 months for the $699 in monthly credits. I'm trying to qualify for a new credit card that requires a $500 spend to get a $200 cash bonus, so the upfront cost and monthly commitment are factors. I personally think Flexible plan at $20/month + $10/GB of data is too risky.
- Does the Pxiel 3 smartwatch must using Google wirless Fi network data or also able to use Mint data.
- If I choose the Flexible plan at $20/month + $10/GB of data (which could be $30 for 1GB, up to $90 for 6GB, after which data is free) for the first 8 months until my Mint Mobile service expires, and then switch to the Essential Unlimited plan at $35/month, would that satisfy the promotion requirements? This strategy would save me approximately $40 plus the partial tax difference between the $35 and $30 monthly costs during those initial 8 months. Would this plan allow me to receive the promotional discounts and credits?
Thank you!1. How is Fi? From what I see online either people hate them or love them. I just need it to work, I don't care much about customer service. T-Mobile currently works just fine for me. Basically, convince me to stay with T-Mobile simple choice over Google Fi
2. I will be bringing over 5 lines, and using the promo on each line, so 5 pixel pros and watches. Realistically, I don't need any of them but will probably keep 1 or 2. It says I have to activate them within 30 days, but if I'm bringing over 3 or 4 phones, do I have to activate the lines on the pixels first, then activate on the phones I'm bringing over?
3. Can I sell the pixels and watches without it impacting the credit payments? Do I have to wait 120 days before doing so?
Bottom line, I want to maximize all the promos on all 5 lines but want to sell 3 or 4 pixels and watches. All 5 lines will be bringing their own device instead
Thanks in advance

Thank you!2) I believe they use an eSIM as I was able to do the 7d trial of Google Fi via an eSIM (I'm with Verizon, have a Verizon SIM in my phone) so I believe you'll be able to use both. You can have multiple eSIM profiles on your Pixel, so that should be no problems. In the Network Settings area you can specify which network to use for what (Calls, SMS, and Mobile Data) -- and when sending a message (at least through Googles Messages app, unsure of other apps) there's an option beside the send button to select which carrier/number to send the message through.
3) I believe the best plan would be the Unlimited Essentials, as you're getting the credit amount to cover that which makes it "free" -- so even if you were to go with the cheapest plan, and then move over after your 7mo Mint that you have left, you'd still have to "up your plan" -- so why not just "get all your moneys worth" with Fi as well, and go with the unlimited essentials. It's break-even with the credits, so there's no reason not to do it.
4) As far as I can tell, you do not need to register the watch at all, you could just immediately sell it, or use it on any other network. The watch purchase itself gives the monthly credits, not actually tying it to any service (don't quote me on this, but I believe this is the case)
5) I'm unsure of your math here. The promotion requirements are that you just stay on Google Fi for 12 months, not any specific plan (please correct me if I'm wrong folks) -- but I refer back to #3 here, why not just register w/ the plan that they provide the credits for, making it "free". I see no reason/benefit (nor profitability) to do otherwise.
UPDATE:
I just received an email regarding the Watch promotion, my original assumption was wrong, you must activate the watch, and keep it on the service for 24months, in order to receive the $14.59/mo credit for it -- Which kinda sucks, as I had no interest in the watch and had planned to gift/sell it as I already have a Galaxy Watch 7. Bummer.
Wording from the two Credit Related Emails:
You're on the way to earning credit for your Pixel 9 Pro! To qualify for this deal, first activate your device. Once your service is active, stay on Fi for 24 months, and you'll get $29.13 back in Fi bill credit monthly.
You're on the way to earning credit for your Pixel Watch 3! To qualify for this deal, first activate your device. Once your service is active, stay on Fi for 24 months, and you'll get $14.59 back in Fi bill credit monthly.

This is my understanding of the verbiage used on their website. The only benefit of using a referral code is for someone who refers you who is NOT participating in this promotion (as they get $60 credits they can actually use), or that both of you are not participating in this promotion, as you will both get $60 credits you can actually use. Otherwise, this is a zero sum credits game.
