one $12 large is on sale but it doesn't count that one as bogo, you have to build your own for $22.78 for bogo which is a terrible deal

Not really a deal if you are expected to pay full price for a pizza hut pizza. Dominos still a better deal and you can regularly get gift cards on discount on gcx raise.
Bogo, you are paying half price for two. 50% off is the BOGO if there was no free and they gave you a price drop.

Have you tried the half and half toppings hack? We do it all the time.
If someone wanted to half and half the same topping to still make it one topping, would that not be the same as getting the whole thing one topping?

A large pepperoni is $20 WTF. I have tons of local choices around me so much better in that range. Pizza hut crazy.

The Hut consistently has the worst deals of the Big 3.

If you buy two, $9 each. Since when pizza hut was founded, you are getting a better deal with 1 topping than they did, back in the day, with a large cheese.
Large pizza with cheese now would be $10.82.

If you buy two, $10 each. You are still getting it cheaper than when a large cheese pizza, when Pizza Hut was originally founded, $10.82. If you want more variety half half the pizza with toppings.

But you have to buy 2 to get that deal so you're not comparing apples to apples. If you want to go that route, Pizza Hut used to offer 2 large Supreme pizzas for $15.99 as part of their normal "deals". That same deal now would cost you $23.19.

Yeah well, you do what you have to do to stay inline with wages. I mean people are buying in bulk everywhere else...Costco...

You order a pizza and if they offer an option to put toppings on a half of the pizza, you do that. Then you put a different topping on another half. Little Caesar's considers that one topping. I am not sure with Pizza Hut or if they even give the option to halve it.

Edit; They do have that option.
Edit Edit: And they only charge $2 for one topping and $2 when one does that. It works!

It's regularly $18.99 for large, but they jacked up the price to $27.59 for this promo, so it's pretty much regular pricing.

$27.59/2 = $13.795 < $18.99

Compare with the wage in your state, track it back to $1.50 on $1.00/hr. wage.
If the wage in your state is $7.25/hr., it is expensive. If the wage in your state is $16.50/hr. or above, that is a steal.

Maybe I am missing something here or it is because I moved from a place where the wage is double to one where I now live, where it is $7.25/hr.; however, to me, $13.795 is nothing if I were making $15/hr (well, you would not be because the average wage would be like $30/hr.). You just have to have a strong budget. If I allocated $15/hr. of my wage to affording that, it still would not be bad. I would probably have that pizza, two slices a day for a while.
