Btw, you should stop posting. All your posts have too much incorrect info.
I'm linking where I pulled the info. Where's yours? Argue with the techie. Your upset that the Samsung A35 shows better image quality according to them. A few other things for people to consider is the Moto has the downgraded screen protection Gorilla Glass 3 vs the Samsung A35 with Gorilla Glass Victus Plus, and a win as Victus is used by their high end S series phones, Google Pixel, others.

... When the phone arrived and you go to the website to activate it gives you the option of porting a number or getting a new number which was a big win for me since I wanted to just pay for the service to get the phone and then use the phone with my existing service....
That's exactly my story shake head when I bought the phone, I used a phone number provided by the TextNow app and I had to call TotalWireless to be able to create an account. Now I have the phone and its IMEI. With that IMEI, TotalWireless doesn't allow me to have a new number. I definitely need to port in an existing number. I just bought a $5/month cell phone plan from Tello (after everything it costs around $9). When the sim comes, I guess I need to call Tello customer service to get the PIN to port the Tello phone number out.
Why do I buy the Tello cellphone plan? I'm afraid that the phone won't be unlocked after 60 days if it's never been activated.

Any Android with less than 12GB RAM is not worth money. Personal experience. This A36 will be very slow and not pleasant use especially for games. If you just need to make phone calls, yes - but then why would you pay for it?
My gaming laptop only has 8GB RAM, and it was released in 2021.

Take the sim out, do a factory reset, call Tracfone and see if they will provision it to Walmart Family Mobile or Straighttalk. If yes, no need to port in a number. Use their eSim. Confirm with them that you bought it from Total and ask specifically if the phone will unlock on their side. When I got my A35 and called 611 it asked me what carrier I wanted. Tracfone will only do a esim with a iphone from what I read. Btw, when I wanted my account port out pin from Tello, they said it would take 2 days. Such nonsense, EDIT: forgot to add that if you go this route, that Total plan is gone.

Phone Camera Test Results - PhoneArena. Edge gets a 133 score and A36 gets a 120. Edge is much better in camera testing by PhoneArena, not even close.

I'm comparing the Samsung A35 (see my post above) which got a 130 score for camera (stills) and 123 video. Reading a problem?

No, it didn't cont me anything additional. When I tried to port the number to unlock it Google voice said it was going to be $20 so I chose the new number and everything worked perfectly. No extra cost and phone unlocked after the initial month of service (at the 60 day mark).
So you only had to pay the initial $55 month plan? On days 31-60 you just let it sit without any plan and on day 61 it unlocked and you were able to use it in a different network? You did not owe Total Wireless anything and just went on your way?
