Wheat makes it not gluten-free. Gluten-free soy sauce is usually pricey. I'm pretty surprised that this one only "Contain: Soy". For cooking purposes, this more than good!

Thank you! Ordered 12, 4x at a time to get $3 in no-rush credit each order. This doesn't have wheat in it unlike most soy sauce that are not labeled gluten-free. With a Celiac wife, this is a crazy deal to use for cooking!

The way it's labelled there is probably additional MSG added to this plus the naturally occuring MSG.

MSG also occurs naturally in Parmesan cheese. It contributes to the flavor.
