Just buy some Soundcore earbuds by anker. same thing, better quality that tunes to your ear with the app. They even got some really premium ones like the NC4 or maybe newer ones. Their best flagship ones are online like $120 which is still cheaper than these "pro" apple headphones. I enjoy my $40 soundcore p40i more than my airpod pros.

I literally just bought these for $189 on Monday last week, is there anyway I can price adjust? I figured purchasing now and selecting a return with my originally purchased wouldn't work because serial numbers

Bought my Airpods Pro 2 in January 2024, use them on a daily basis, and they have not presented any issues thus far.

I was compelled to upgrade when my four-year-old AirPods Pro developed an issue with one of the mics used to pic up ambient noise for Transparency or Noise Cancellation modes. It became detached inside the bud, and the contact it made with the plastic around it would lead to noise in either of those modes when you moved around. Apple support advised it was a known issue, but they were so far out of warranty and AppleCare that they wouldn't repair/replace (at no cost). They worked fine otherwise, so those were retired for rough/dirty use cases.

You could just return the original one, check the policy where you bought but i'm pretty sure Apple for example, allows open box returns, no penalty or fee.

And buy and keep the new one
