Had to make sure I ordered one before posting here The small variant[rei.com] is also around the same price, but the weight is similar enough that Medium is to go-to (if you're fine with green that is).

If you camp once or twice a year this isn't worth it. If you are like me and camp dozens of times a year RTT are a game changer. Being able to park on rocky areas and uneven areas and have a tent set up that's up off the ground away from critters, heavy rain issues, etc. is what makes these worth it. Quick takedown as well. I don't know about this one but the hard shell ones like I have have a built in memory foam pad. Less to bring for camping and a better sleep than just a camp pad. Good ones are also way better insulated against wind and cold weather since they are thick, heavy fabrics. Also, $1k covers about 4-5 nights in a hotel for my family. My RTT has paid for itself in less than 6 months. And beyond that it lets us adventure far more fun areas with our truck+tent vs just a tent and trying to find even ground. Park and camp. No towing. Quick setup. That's why these are getting popular. Don't adventure or camp much? These aren't for you.
This is a stupid and impracticale concept, hence how you can find these for free in market place. Save yourself a headache and $1000 by buying a ground tent.

You must live in the South West.
In the North East you don't want to be in the ground in the wilderness for dozens of reasons.
This is very functional for backwoods camping in wet, tick laden, uneven areas
