Idk but costco has one on sale for a couple weeks for the same price
Clearance for new stock/models. Target and Walmart does this every year… Look for Target to do this the closer it gets to summer time..

Technology gets old and outdated. Think of LCDs in 2000s, a 32 inch LCD costed around $1000 in late 2000s, come 2015 they were phasing out LCDs as LEDs had become very popular. Prices were slashed and LCDs became almost non existent by late 2010s. This trend is now starting to happen for regular LEDs to make space for the other new technologies like QLED, mini led , OLEDs etc. and these will become the new norm in another 4-5 years

How would this tv compare to the Vizio 70 model? Walmart also has the Samsung DI7200B on sale for about the same price. I like the Samsung but it does not have optical audio out. My audio system will not accept Earc hdmi.

Reviews on Walmart site indicated that some people have issues with damage TV from shipping, and the return process wasn't great either. Thoughts?

The shipping issue was one of the reasons I held off on ordering. Frown

Just ordered hey Sony TV from another deal. When it arrives there was a small tear in the Box but nothing crazy. When I hooked it up the screen had bright spots when it was showing black as if the panel had been pressed in on some spots. It wasn't terrible, but my 7 series TCL TV blacks blew the Sony completely out of the water.
