It can end up being pretty slick in the right circumstances. I usually only order from places that have BOGO or spend a certain amount and get certain item free. Those deals stack w/ the % off offers that are YMMV based on how often you use the service. Combine that w/ GCs 25% off and it can end up being far less than directly purchasing from the restaurant even w/ a decent tip.

Beware, Uber is terrible with giving refunds if your order should have an issue

If you bought one in the past 30 days, you are qualified for a price adjustment. $5 refund get!

I must've been blocked from costco because I do order these regularly, even for $80. Anyone know if that blockage ever comes undone? Usually order every two weeks but been blocked since last order earlier in april

I mostly use it for restaurant takeouts on UE like Chipotle. The prices are same for pickup order and a solid 25% off
Is there a site that give s a list if restaurants that don't charge more for pickup with UE?

A lot of comments say that Uber rides prices got increased after adding the gift card and allegedly stayed elevated. Be careful if you are using uber also. Would be a good advise to create a separate account for uber eats
I've heard this before, not sure how true. I've seen people comment both ways, saying they have proof with other user's phone at same time, and some comments saying they tested and it did not.

I did see a suggestion from a poster a couple of years ago that said you can pay with your credit card first for Uber rides and then within 30 days you can change your payment method. They suggested to add the gift cards after your rides are over and then change your payment method to the gift card/Uber cash balance.

I've done this twice when traveling and using Uber to/from airports. The first time I had no issues and was able to do it through the app automatically for about 4 rides. This last time I tried doing it the same and the app kept telling me I wasn't able to use that payment method to switch to for a few of my airport rides (2 of 6 rides worked fine). I contacted their bot customer service through the app and kept getting the same repeated responses and they would immediately end the chat. Took me a few tries but some agent (I think) was able to make it happen. I kept asking for the reason why I couldn't use the gift card as the new payment method and they wouldn't tell me why.

I'm buying 2 more of these to try it one more time for a June trip. If I get more issues doing that I might not buy these anymore, or just add them first before taking the rides and hope they don't increase the ride fare because of the GCs (if they in fact do that).

Does anybody know where I can find Lyft gift cards for a discount?
Amazon currently has $100 Lyft GC for $85. I haven't found a better deal than that recently

Absolutely, and that's why I'm here... since the discounted Instacart GC are not currently available I'm purchasing these to make Costco purchases on Uber Eats
Instacart sucks

This is a great deal for Costco shoppers, if you have the UE app.. most prices are slightly lower than Instacart. ✌️😀
No Costco on UE kills uber eats for me. Instacart monopolized Costco deliveries

So you still get the % off offers when you have a gift card loaded?
The gift card just shows as Uber cash. I've never seen any price or discount differences using Uber cash vs a credit card.

That's only if you spend $100 flat. But if you spend more, or less than that and then end up with a balance, you'll eventually spend more than the $100 and your % drops from there... unless you keep replenishing the gift cards.

Yeah this. Uber Eats pickup is usually the same price as calling the restaurant up or going into the lobby to order takeout. And where I'm at, my postmates / uber eats account doesn't prompt me to add a tip when I order. Combined with the 2 for one deals at some restaurants, it ends up being a steal!
