Does Harbor Freight have one at this size (24.5" depth) and price? I don't think so.

What he said. 24 is a good depth for a workbench. As much as a fan of HFT I am. They are at 18 or 20. That extra 4 inches makes a difference...ask your wife.

This is why people buy pick up trucks. Nonsense that you can't get this shipped without paying absurd amount. These are super heavy even if you rent home depot truck... You need a ramp. Than you got a deal.

Is it feasible to get this into a basement? Does it come apart so it's not a single 300lb package? Ideally I could use a block and tackle to get it lowered but 300lbs is a lot if it slips and crashes.
Flip it on it's side and use a dolly against the flat side. 2 people should make it pretty easy. Just a step at a time.

It's a fully assembled, heavy widowmaker. I have 2 in my garage and they don't appear easy to take apart
Take the drawers out to alleviate some weight

I'm seeing 7 at $498.00 in the San Jose area, and 5 also at $498 in the San Diego area. Sounds like it's a YMMV kind of deal.

Modern truck beds are too high, use a van or a trailer. These type things are notoriously damaged during delivery, so it's best to check one out in person and arrange your own transport.

I picked up two of these. I've been eyeing workbenches for a while and this is a good deal. They had some same size (24.5" depth) but in black, local only, for $498 about 5 months ago that slowly cleared out. I was sad I missed it and with tariffs thought that price point was gone.

Anybody comparing these to HF is not looking at depth. Jump on this price, because this might be the last time you see this size for this price.

Those u haul ones some of them have ramps. It's still super hassle since you have to strap them too.

Best way to transport these is in pickup truck. Have employee help you load on flat bed. Line up flat bed with truck bed, lift front end up. Lift and set front on tailgate. Move to the end and lift, slide into truck bed.

At home, the opposite but use a four wheel caster dolly. Push workbench off truck bed, align dolly so it partially lands on it. Go slow until workbench teeters off. Jump off bed lift the end off tailgate and push off. The 2-3' drop will be fine just go slow and controlled. Even better if you have a second person and just control lift the end off and nto the dolly.

I unloaded solo no problem (I'm 135lbs). This is how we loaded gun safes when I worked at Costco. Don't try to muscle it and don't put yourself in any spot you'll get pinched.

I also saw all the prices of the 42" at this same price so figured it could have possibly been a price mistake. Buy now think later. Returning wouldn't be as fun but not impossible.

You can probably remove the drawers and wheels to take some weight off.
Drawers can come out. Wheels do not come attached to the carbines.
