I bought the gmktek a few months ago, and I'm happy with it for my needs. This one seems better for use in an office or a low needs daily pc. The gmktek seems better for moving around often and if you really need just that extra few fps.
I think we're ultimately splitting at hairs with most of these n100/n150/n97 alder lake mini pcs. They all will get about the same performance. They are have probably similar reliability. And they likely all have terrible support if anything goes wrong with them, haha

Chances are good that, for this price and this particular seller, there will be no US based support whatsoever (beyond the 30-day Amazon return window). This same exact model sells for $60 more when purchased directly from KAMRUI (via Amazon). The difference is that they provide a US support phone number (which is a rarity with these mini-pc's)! Hardly anyone will spend the additional $60, but I wanted to point all of this out regardless....as these mini-pc's are typically a risky purchase (due to reliability issues and a lack of US based support).

You really seem to know your stuff so I thought I'd ask what are your thoughts between these and the Intel N305? The specs seem similar on paper, but is there a significant difference in performance (emulation and classic gaming)?

Thanks for the compliment, those seem very rare around here! I unfortunately do not know much about the n305. It seems like the n305 is quite a bit higher performing in both cpu threads and gpu execution units. I honestly haven't seen very many products with the n305. The n100 and similar cpus seem very popular in the mini pc space. If you are looking for something with higher performance, and focused on gaming, you might want to consider getting a steam deck or similar handheld—they are tuned for gaming and will have a lot more support than any of these mini pcs.
