I mean, yeah, it's a little shady to abuse the retention department, but I got stuff to do, I'm not sitting on hold for 45 mins, told some bs, get disconnected while on hold or xfr'd, and then call back in and wait for a supervisor, like a lot of people here did.
It was a 5 minute call and my phone was on my account and working.
Smarter not Harder, friends. 🙂

I ordered on the 11th, and the color is the spring bud green.

I finally received the RAZR 2025 from Total Wireless today! But just as I was about to get fully excited, I ran into an issue with the IMEI number. When I logged into my account, the IMEI listed there didn't match the one on the phone—it was yet another mess from their end.
So, I called Total Wireless customer service. After waiting nearly 40 minutes, I finally got through—and luckily, I got a rep who actually knew what needed to be done. I explained the situation, he asked a few questions to confirm the details, and then updated the IMEI to the correct one that matches the phone I received.
He also helped activate my T-Mobile Network Pass number once I provided the account number and port-out PIN. But then there was another hiccup—the plan was showing only 2 months instead of the 3 months I was promised. I pointed that out, and thankfully, they fixed that too.
Attached imaged too.
All in all, it was a bit of a rollercoaster—but I'm glad it ended the way it should have.

A new phone showed up unexpectedly at my door today. I did not get any communication with a new tracking number.
I checked my email and I received two automated emails from TW today. The first was that somebody removed a device from my TW account, and then another message that somebody changed the email on my account.
I can no longer log into my account at total wireless. It says there is no account tied to my email.
What a disaster. At this point I do not know if I trust TW to port my main phone number and I do not know how any of this will impact the unlocking process.
I am now on hold with TW support. They are estimating 25-36 minutes wait just to talk to somebody.
I do not anticipate that this will be worth the time spent straightening things out. This might end up being the most expensive "deal" that I will ever sign up for.
