Are these good? Or will you get fatigued? What others speakers can you guys recommend in a 800 dollar budget for bookshelf? Polk? Elac?
I really like mine. I use these for 2.1 TV and music. I replaced a pair of Wharfedale Diamond 10.1s with them. Big step up in mid-range clarity.
If by "fatiguing" you mean like some Klipsch, I'd say no. I can listen for hours and still enjoy them with either media.
No it's not. It's very hard to find Q150s under $400. Even for $400-$500 these are the absolute most recommended bookshelf speakers on most Audiophile forums.

The deal history says otherwise. These have pretty much been on sale for $300 for the better part of this year. Especially after the new model was released. Maybe you're thinking of the larger Q350?

This is old stock. The Q150 was discontinued over six months ago.
As said above these are the 150's. Decent speakers, but $299 is not really a deal price. For $328 I'd get the Klipsch 600m. These regularly are compared to the KEF 350's ($499) and outperform them.

Right now I ONLY care about my turntable with old records, I have a Yamaha RX-V675, 2 Polk P10's and 2 Micca MB42's along with a Polk sub
Just looking for stronger sound, more volume so I do not have to crank my receiver all the way up
I have the Miccas as well so yes, HUGE upgrade. Way more mid-range. All your music will sound more full. The fact that you have a sub is a bonus so you can tune in the Klipsch to crush the middle.
