The KEF Q150 Bookshelf Speaker is the newest iteration of KEF award-winning Q Series. The Q150 features a new cabinet, sleek new finishes, and an improved 5.25" Uni-Q driver Array.
The Q150 contains an enhanced Uni-Q Driver Array designed to smooth out treble frequencies, and reimagined crossovers to provide cleaner and more accurate bass.
The front port has been moved to the back of the Q150 and internal architecture has been redesigned to reduce internal resonances to improve audio clarity.
The Q150 is available in sleek matte Black and White vinyl finishes. Nominal Impedance: 8Ω (min.3.7Ω)
I absolutely love my pair of white Q150's. I don't know why people complain about bass but these speakers have plenty. In fact, I returned my 10" sub because it was too much bass. The bass in these are not wall shaking but they are tight and very controlled. They scale well with the mids and highs to very loud volume. My 130W HK BDS280 drove them to about 60% and it was already too loud for comfort.
I'm sure you can drive these way higher with a more capable receiver and dedicated sub but 60% of 130W is more than enough for most people.
And they simply are some of the best looking bookshelf speakers on the market.

I recently pulled the trigger on these after spending way too long studying speakers I couldn't get out to sample. These are great speakers for this price. Very weak on bass (as expected for this cabinet size), but very clear mids and highs. Very big soundstage and work great on a TV in an average size living room.

Pulled the trigger on these Q150's. I've been reading reviews on these versus the Q350's and while I'm still not sure how they compare in the real world, $300 is too good to pass up. If anyone has opinions on these vs the 350's, I'd love to hear them. I'm still building my system, and I plan on adding a sub soon.
They are "on sale" so frequently at this price that you can just call this the regular price. Since Black Friday, they've been priced at $299 much more than they've been priced at their "regular" price of 599. Don't worry if you miss this round of the sale, they'll be at this price again within a month.
Same for the JBL Studio 530s. Their regular price of $599 is just a crappy marketing scheme to make the sale price seem like a deal.

I compared both 150 and 350 and went with 350. 350s have more depth to sound as it has bigger driver although you may need a sub...clarity wise also I felt better.. I really enjoy listening with 350s..

I have the Q150. They are a great sounding speaker. Pairs really, really well with the little PS Audio Sprout 100 amp.
A little earlier this year I pulled the trigger on the Q350, thinking that the speakers were the same size, and the the Q350 were in a higher quality bracket.
It turns out the Q350 are not the same size. They are bigger. Too big, in fact, to fit into the space I set up the Q150. So I canceled the order before they shipped.
So it may be the Q350 may just benefit from whatever a larger driver and cabinet confer, but may use the same quality level drivers and cabinets, not sure. I don't know if there are any other improvements to the Q350 other than the size increase.
I haven't heard the differences between the two, of course. But keep in mind the Q350 is a bigger speaker. That may be the deciding factor between the two for you.
