how is it fake 4k when front sensor records at 3840x2160P
Having Starvis 2 doesn't mean the camera is true 4k, it needs processing power to handle the bandwidth, and this one doesn't have it. It is a decent 2k camera if you looks at it that way, but any VIOFO including 119 has better video. With that insurance and police care less about you capturing license plates, nobody will be using your video to search for hit and run driver unless there is a very major injury.

Why is there never a dash cam that's usb c powered instead of cigarette lighter? I Don't think they even make cars with cigarette ports anymore, do they??

I bought Rove camera last year
The power cable is usbc where it connect to camera and USB A where you plug in the power outlet. It did come with cigarette lighter adapter to connect in USB A port. We have a newer vehicle with USB and USB C connectors near gear shifter and w have been using it plugged in directly there. Haven't had any issues so far.

You can always get one of these to use as a source of power if your car doesn't have cigarette lighter but has USb or USB C

Did anyone know for things like this, if they have a SD card, does this automatically send data to the cloud? Let's say someone breaks into the car, dies the data go to the cloud or is it left on the SD card in the device. Cause if they steal the device, and it doesn't upload, I'm cooked and it really didn't help.
