Go for the complete edition. You'll just regret it when you complete the base game without the DLCs and the Blood & Wine DLC is a significant amount of additional content.

Not necessary in the slightest. Hardly anyone who has played this has played either of the first two. I've never played the first, and I've played maybe 10 hours of the second (which does not hold up). This was my first Witcher game.

+1 to getting the complete edition. This is a great price for the original game plus two DLCs, and it will definitely save you money when you want to play more Witcher and you've finished the main quest.

Not a bad title and a great price. Game starts strong, but the main storyline quickly falls apart if any critical thought is applied. The ending is a complete joke. That said, the magic lies with the sidequests. Such a fun side story experience.
