I bought a similar kit years ago for $30 at Lowes and looks like it is still $30, so $3 off is ok deal. The Lowes set has impact rated bits which I may not be a any advantage if using it with this mini ratchet.
I find the ratchet is too easy to accidentally change direction , but otherwise works well.

bit selection is not great. no t17. no 1/4 socket adapter but they add imperial hex. meh.

edit: I'm the 1/4 adapter is included in normal set but not included in security set.

Bicycle and motorcycle stuff mostly. I happen to have a specific use for t17 on the clasp on motocross boots.

But the point is they add weird stuff like two square bits and then skip sizes on normal stuff. Example: you will never see a square on anything else than a wood screw. But then you need an impact rated square bit which this isn't. So what's the point even. Or maybe you're crazy and put in wood screws with a rachet 😂

Every 30$ bit set I ever bought had complete torx set.
My recent fav is the 30$ Makita bit set in jewel case from home depot.

What has happened to slickdeals? Co-opted by marketing teams I guess. This site is saturated with posts like these that are not even close to being a good deal. Really people, excited about a $30 set of bits that costs $2 to make?

I have this set except with the screwdriver handle and I can say that the wratchet concept is a bit odd. I use the screwdriver more often. Over many years, I only had a few times when I needed the extra leverage but it was not enough.

Yeah I hear ya. And interesting about the T17 being more common on the cycle stuff. Square bits are more common in Canada, but they're also usable on some electrical stuff like receptacle terminals.

I did some googling and this is a fairly recommended brand/kit for specific light all around jobs and tight/restricted location work.

While I agree there's a lot of shill posts, this is definitely not one of them. Also if you check the price history, this is the lowest recorded price ever so I'm not sure what you're on about.

Bought a security set.

Yeah, I would pick this up if it was a screwdriver handle instead of a ratchet. The ratchet is only usable in very specific circumstances. 95% of the time a screwdriver handle would be better.
