In other news - the 65" U8N is now finally below $900! It seemed like prices have been dropping on every size U8N except the 66" (which has been stuck at $949 for what seems like forever)

I had been waiting and waiting to upgrade, and I just decided not to wait any longer. I agonized over what to buy for months. I ended up settling on the U8N for $949 and I like it a lot.

My 65" U8N is a major upgrade for me from any TV I've owned. I've been watching it a couple of months now and I love it. At first, I wasn't sure. I had first tried the $899 65" Phillips Roku OLED, and would have kept it, except the screen had a physical defect. After the hassle of waiting two weeks for delivery, having to re-box it and return, I decided to get something else, the U8N.

BTW, recently Hisense did an OTA update and the picture went from excellent to outstanding. I would have never believed that a firmware (or package) update could improve a picture, but it did. Zero regrets switching to the U8N now.
