This is not true. The ketchup didn't sell well enough in mass to keep producing it. It was never sold to a bank

They discontinued it in 2023. Tell me if you want to pay $12+ per bottle for expired ketchup from a 3rd party.

It is true. I had it partially wrong. It wasn't an investment bank, it was to Unilever, even worse. They discontinued the ketchup, claimed it was due to poor sales. It probably was. But if they didn't sell out I can almost guarantee the ketchup would still be sold today.
