I achieved this on my own with just a double sided tape on a USB hub

I have a different brand but it looks exactly the same except for the logo. I liked it so much I bought a second one. For all that's worth...

Mine occasionally falls off over time leading me to 3d printing an actual desk clamp.

I like the idea but wish there were more USB C ports.

To be fair to them, it's clamped to an iMac, not a monitor...but your point still stands for monitors.

I bought a similar version in AliExpress with different ports.
I can recommend it since it works at the speeds mentioned but the cable provided (USB type C to A) was too short (3.3 feet) for me cause I wanted to route it under the desk and you might need a second USB cable for 5V extra power.
Additional cables may be required according to your setup.

We still don't know the power output limits, but my guess is it's 900 mA per port.

If it did BC 1.2 / 1.5 or 2A max, this would be an excellent deal. I just doubt it.

FYI.
It didn't work well enough for me to be worth keeping it, but I like the idea

Long Story:
I tried it, but returned it. I think it is a neat idea, but the screw head and rubber were not wide enough to give me a tight clamp onto the narrow edge of my desk. ( i tried it on my monitor too, but didn't want to tighten it that much, that is why I think with a thicker rubber strip on each side would hold better with less tightening.
