If you got jaundice and abnormal heart rate because your argan oil had steroids in it, I would sue instead of just rant about it in sd comment sections…seems like it'd be easily provable

Most likely what I got was tainted with something else.

I used one of these before from a different brand a long time ago, and it turned out to be a topical steroid. Got absorbed into my bloodstream from the skin and gave me horrible side effects plus negative health outcomes.
So. From another brand, but not this brand.
A) Who was the other brand?
B) What makes you think this brand's product would do the same?
C) Did you talk to qualified professionals? Your doctor maybe? A lawyer?

i use petroleum jelly for skin and hair. slather it on after the shower and run it through my hair like pomade. cheap too, i go through several 13oz tubs a year. been using it for decades
Petroleum jelly is probably the worst you can do for your hair and skin. It likely clogs the skin pores and may give very bad feelings and look with that layer on skin that doesn't absorb well. And if one had thinner hair, jelly will make hair look badass
