I believe these still use the 18650 cells. The octane and 8Ah plus uses 21700 cells.

I got 3 of these for $80 on offerup the other week. They work great. I got an adaptor off of ebay to use them with my HF tools too.

That user is referring to the "exp batteries". I believe they make 2 and 4 ah versions. They r def better but as long as ur at least getting these max output over the POS version 1 batts ur good.

EXP batts supposedly run cooler, but for sure add more power and slight improvement in run time. Lots of tests on yt. 👍
