And the name is stupid.


Its litteraly just a really big iphone. Looks almost comical.

No word on price yet.

I consider myself an Apple fan (love OS X, have several Hackintosh rigs, an iPhone 3GS, MacBook Pro), but I gotta say this looks pointless. The iPhone OS ruins it, particularly since there's no multitasking. Had they put real OS X on it, I'd be extremely tempted to buy one for my classes, it'd be like a better netbook.

So, as it stands, it's stupid and overpriced. If it can be hacked to run OS X, I'll buy one. However, given that the CPU is proprietary and most likely ARM-based, I doubt that'll happen.

I'm not gonna lie, this thing seems kinda ridiculous. Maybe it would be awesome at $250, but $500 +? WTF? even the resolutoin is just 'meh'. And, STILL no multitasking - for something that should have functionality like this, no multitasking is a huge killer.

Does it even have bluetooth?

I agree. At that size, it should have all the power of a computer....

The bottom is parralel to your computer monitor but the top is at an angle, like it's twisted.

Looks like it's at an angle. I didn't mess with my mind. I guess my mind is twisted already so this looks normal to me. Dontknow

In essence the Wifi models are like the Ipod Touch and the 3G models are like the Iphones without the phone capability.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Its a keystoneing effect. like taking a photo of a large building from the base, it will appear to get wider or narrower depending on the angle.
