I went to Lowe's to buy the impact for $170. I saw this sign and couldn't believe it. $170 for just a tool but now I get two batteries, a charger and the tool for $149. Makes zero sense.

I don't see the 1/2" ~$170 impact listed in the tools. We're you able to buy that one?

I do see the 1/4" impact $99 in the list.

Yes the 1/2 inch drive is on the list. I had to check 3 times before I asked someone for help because I couldn't believe it. I went in thinking I may get the corded drill to save $70 but was considering the stretch for convenience and was thrilled when I saw the deal.

A 1/2 inch is on the list its priced at $99 so it might be priced wrong or the OP got the higher end one by mistake

Nice with the 6amp batteries. What I don't get is why craftsman keeps putting these super slow chargers in kits like this.
