Tech Specs on ASUS site:

3.2K (3200 x 2000) OLED 16:10 aspect ratio
120Hz refresh rate
600 nits HDR peak brightness

Many SD Laptop Deals have 300 nits brightness

Incorrect. If you look at the Asus site you'll clearly see that it's the 285H for model S5606CA. It's the S5606MA model that has the 185H.

Processor and screen specs are very good; however, the 16gb non-upgradable memory is a dealbreaker at this price.

285h has double the cores (16) of the 258v (8). If you need performance, the Asus. Battery life should be better on Aspire

For what it's worth, I have a Vivobook S15. It's this laptop with a 15.6 OLED display and Core Ultra 7-155H that I got from Walmart for $600. Build quality is top-notch and I'm still amazed how light it is. Also, the display is the best I've experienced. The processor upgrade over mine in this deal should make it well worth the higher price tag.

will this handle multiple(3) external monitors for day trading, and multiple apps (light office stuff like office apps) running when working? I had an old laptop from 2015 that is 16gb memory, 512gb hdd on win10 and about to be obsolete and looking to upgrade. I keep seeing that 32gb ram is ideal nowadays and there's nothing but 16gb deals going on.. is that a big deal? Thanks

I guess you won't be buying the vast majority of laptops in 2025 since almost all companies are going to soldered.
He said soldered 16gb is a nonstarter, which I agreed.

Win11 need 32 to do anything other than word processing and web browsing.

I'd pay $1000 to get 32G RAM or more to get 64G RAM, for god sake how hard it is to have 2 slots of rams. My 1999 Sony Vaio has them!

Tempting at this price. That 3K OLED display alone makes it stand out

Anyone have any thoughts on this deal or the one at Costco? Same laptop, costco has more RAM and better screen, but wondering if the Intel processor here is better than the AMD at Costco?
